To understand the humor in this it’s important to know that Florida Voice News is a fake news and Astroturf media operation set up entirely to promote Ron DeSantis. Organized by CEO Brandon Leslie, a man who Will Rogers never met, the entire construct of the Florida’s Voice media firm (established in 2021) is to support and promote Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Florida Voice Media conducted a poll from their Twitter account. The FLVoice followers are all DeSantis supporters. That’s the backdrop for this level of funny.
Even when a poll is conducted within the group that carries the most die-hard Ron DeSantis supporters, the results are the worst yet. The results are so bad for Ron DeSantis, that even Donald Trump promoted the DeSantis media operation on his Truth Social account.
Even with all of the DeSantis die-hards on Twitter supporting the effort, they can only gather 16% support. President Trump grows his 2024 GOP primary support to 80%.
I blame his declining numbers on who is supporting him. With friends like Jeb Bush, Lindsay Graham, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnel, Mitt Romney and every other deep state loser all throwing their support behind him... poor DeSantis never had a chance. Everyone hates the establishment GOP twits these days... They are a poison pill to any rising star.
Trump has all the right enemies. DeSantis has all the wrong friends.
What the flip ever. People have done nothing but attack DeSantis and he hasn’t declared. I don’t think he will, could be wrong. I wonder what all these piss and vinegar filled FReepers will say if/when he’s the nominee after Trump.

Jeb Bush and Christie Creme publicly supported Trump after the indictment. The secret servers in Germany crazies are all lined up behind Trump, too. Hilariously, Trump gets a pass on all that. It seems some folks are just not tired of losing with Trump just yet.

Well stated. DeSantis' allies have me concerned, although I suspect that much of the Never-Trump component of DeSantis' support will migrate to a more "moderate" candidate if Trump is denied the nomination. I think that much of DeSantis's support is due to him being seen as the best alternative to deny Trump the nomination and not really solid support for DeSantis.
I'll write-in President Trump, then shelter in place in Galt's Gulch for the rest of my life because that would be our death knell.
