Jury Selection Set to Begin in Dominion’s $1.6 Billion Lawsuit Against Fox
US News and World Reports ^ | 4-13-2023 | Reuters

Jury selection in Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuit against Fox Corp. is expected to begin on Thursday, as the court seeks 12 Delaware residents from a heavily-Democratic county to decide whether Fox News knowingly aired false claims about vote rigging in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

Dominion says that Fox destroyed its business by knowingly airing debunked claims that its ballot counting machines were used to flip the results of the election against former President Donald Trump, a Republican who lost to Democrat Joe Biden.

The primary question for jurors will be whether Fox knowingly spread false information or recklessly disregarded the truth, the standard of "actual malice" Dominion must show to prevail.

Unfortunately the internal e-mails from Fox hosts acknowledging that they knew the story was bogus but felt they had to run with it to win back their audience will prove damaging.

Dominion and Fox both suck. Hard to know which one to root for. The goal of both was to thwart PDJT.

One doesn’t have to read a single word of this or any article to conclude that Dominion and Fox both suck.

Yeah, reading an article before commenting on it is so passé.

no other country in the World uses that nonsense ... go back to paper ballots and hand-counting, enumeration, and no mail-in voting ... corruption problem solved

The Uniparty does not want it solved, otherwise Trump would be in his second term and Kari Lake would be governor of AZ.

I agree.

Paper ballots, hand counting and no mail in voting (with very limited exceptions) is the only way to fix the problem. I agree the rules were rigged against Trump in 2020. A big part of that was the corrupt corporate media we have. However and unfortunately, I think we were all fed a bill of goods about Dominion.

Our elections can and have been rigged in multiple ways.

Paper ballots that are secret and can’t be attached to an actual voter will still be a problem, especially if those ballots are issued outside of a voting station.(See Vote by Mail & Absentee ballots.)

As far as machines like Dominion, people have been paid to breach security on them. They haven’t had any problems doing so.(The WinVote machines being the easiest)
The Senate has a Report on Russian election interference in 2016, that was intended to damage the Trump Presidency.(Worthless bastards)

In volume one, pages 38-45 it tells of the ease in which machines were compromised, but concluded no votes were actually changed.

Debunked? I’m not so sure about that.

Since when have newspapers been required to agree with the news views that they have been reporting? There were people out there making at least arguably credible arguments that there was something wrong with the machines. A free press should be able to report those views. If Dominion prevails, conservative media will be sued just because the left disagrees with them.

Turnabout is fair play.

I’m wondering when a lawsuit will be announced against the alphabet media re ‘knowingly spreading false information’ on shrillary’s anti-Trump op, ‘Russia Collusion’.

But I won’t hold my breath...

The biggest “courtroom drama” of the year!!! You can bet most of the “jurors” will be women and minorities. What normal people refer to as “a retarded jury”.

Unfortunately, once they win the lawsuit dominion will decide our future elections from here on. They will be emboldened to do whatever fraud they need to do for the rats to continue their winning cheating streak! This is how communist countries continue to control their citizens even if millions upon millions turned out to vote … Venezuela, Russia, Cuba, China, Brazil all come to mind … the people always get cheated out.

Totally agree, The msm reports lies daily, it's up to the consumer to judge and recognize that 90% of the news is false.
