As many as 50 British special forces operators are currently deployed in Ukraine, allegedly leaked US intelligence documents suggest.
Britain has the largest contingent of special forces on Ukrainian soil, alongside more than a dozen operators each from fellow NATO states Latvia, France and the US, according to a document dated March 23.
The Ministry of Defence warned against taking allegations contained in the reported leak of classified information at 'face value', posting on Twitter: 'The widely reported leak of alleged classified US information has demonstrated a serious level of inaccuracy.'
Some of the classified documents, which were leaked online and have been widely circulated on social media, appear to have been doctored, according to Pentagon spokesman Chris Meagher.
But US defence officials have been adamant a leak had taken place, with Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin vowing to 'investigate and turn over every rock until we find the source of this and the extent of it'.
Former head of the Royal Marines, Lt. Gen. Robert Magowan, confirmed in December that British commandos had already deployed twice to Ukraine in 2022 - first in January to evacuate the British Embassy in Kyiv, and again in April 'to provide protection to critical personnel'.
Lt Gen Magowan said the personnel had served in Ukraine 'with a high level of political and military risk'.

Oh, and we shouldn’t discount the possibility that the CIA will false-flag attack our own people - just to help move things along.

The number of British commandos that the UK thinks are in Ukraine, that the US thinks are in Ukraine, and that are in Ukraine on any given day at any given time are all probably different.

I can’t speak for anyone else but IMO, the word “leak” is used because SOMETHING IS ACCURATE otherwise why not just say “don’t know where that kind of information came from.”
If something is leaked, it existed to begin with...a bucket leaks because the bucket exists...Odd I know but that’s the way I see it!
Billy Ray’s unit was in Sang Bang and Dang Gone. I believe that’s where a land mine went off and he lost his legs. And he went blind.
