As former President Donald Trump ramps up his 2024 presidential campaign, new polling reveals that while more than half of Americans believe he intentionally did something illegal after his indictment, many believe it was politically motivated.
Trump was arraigned Tuesday in New York City on charges stemming from alleged 2016 hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, making him the first former president in American history to be criminally charged.
A recent ABC News/Ipsos poll found that 48% of Americans think Trump should suspend his presidential campaign following the indictment, up 5 points from last week.
The survey reported that 53% of respondents think that Trump's actions were intentionally illegal. According to the poll, 20% of voters believe Trump did nothing wrong, while 11% said while they think he acted improperly, it was not intentionally illegal.

I am a diehard Trumper and he made plenty of mistakes starting with Pence and not vetoing budget bills. He was still the best President since Reagan and doubt any Conservative can argue with that.
Trump is the only one who is even trying to do something, yes he has flaws, and makes mistakes, but he is still “The Man In The Arena”.
And I will always be thankful for his SCOTUS picks, but I firmly believe he is no longer fit for the Presidency. Just mentioning that makes me a target for scorn and vitriol on this site. So I have chosen to respond in kind.

You are correct. I could not. The sheer volume of porn stars and mistresses alone would be too much for me to handle. Not to mention all the Bill and Hillary fundraising events taking pics with Al Sharpton. That would be taxing for me. Thankfully I do not have to endure it.
Why I stopped watching Faux News completely a few years ago. I don’t even stop on that channel when I’m looking for some background noise in my house.
Most of those are Democrats.
I have no problem with Desantis running. Everybody will make up their own minds at the end of the Republican primaries.
I prefer Trump, but Desantis appears to be a good choice also. Does that upset you?

DeSantis supporters do not accept the guilt by association, innuendo and rumor campaign created by Trump cultists (different from Trump supporters) which is nothing more than a juvenile effort to paint DeSantis as anything other than a solid conservative in his actions.
You would think that Trump cultists would not do to DeSantis what the left has tried to do to Trump. But the left who does this is in their own cult, so it makes sense.
Not if Trump is at the top of the ticket. That’s why they’re giddy with joy that he’s leading the race. They know they can clobber him with Biden and avoid a destructive primary battle of their heir own against an incumbent president.
