Air Defender 2023 will be the first exercise in which Finland, as a NATO member, will participate.
Ummm, Finland is not a member of Nato, it hasn’t been voted on yet. Turkey is not “all in” on that Nation joining.
“The US Air National Guard is preparing for the largest movement of forces across the Atlantic Ocean in its history. The service will send 100 aircraft to the US to take part in the Air Defender 2023 military exercise.”
If those aircraft instead decide to go to Ukraine, my guess is that European cities start to vaporize, as I suspect that Russia is sick of playing this ‘we’re not at war with NATO’ game.
With any luck we can have a land war in Europe and a naval war in Asia at the same time. That will drain everything we have as fast as possible.
