Former President Donald Trump was arraigned in New York on Tuesday on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, but the largest blow to his hopes of reclaiming the White House might have occurred nearly 1,000 miles away in Wisconsin, where liberals secured a majority on the state's Supreme Court for the first time in 15 years.
Hours after Trump became the first American president to face felony charges, Judge Janet Protasiewicz claimed victory over former Justice Dan Kelly, a major Trump supporter and one of the Wisconsin Republicans central to the former president's attempts to throw out the results of the 2020 general election.

Trump’s fault is that he supports the architect of all of the recent GOP losses in Ronna McRomney.

Trump is working overtime to lead Republicans to defeat in 24. His attacks on DeSantis are childish and cheap. He will not change.....time to move on.”
Ignore this Troll.
and the Republicans won a vacant State Senate seat, giving them a super majority in the Wisconsin Senate....already have the majority in the House. They are gonna go after soft on crime judges...even impeach the one that just won. Media refuses to tell the entire story....smh.
Trump is like a kind of Chinese finger trap - the more you guys dump on him the more determined his supporters are to pull the lever for him.
However the Republicans won a seat in the WI Senate that gives them supermajority status.
That plus the Constitution, Article I, Section 4, Clause 1, could mean that the WI SC won't have the final say.
Democrats did a great job getting large voter turnout at UW-Madison where the young skulls full of liberal mush favored murdering children in the womb.
Add to that the state legislature has Article I Section 4 power from the US Constitution.
When they steal Wi in 24 there is 0 chance of doing anything about it now. The rats have an open field there. If the legislature tries to lock down the fraud the Wi SC will stop them.
With regards to Wisconsin going to hell now takes to the devil soros, I agree ... everyone keeps saying we gotta catch up and beat the dems (deep state, the machine, the left, the commies, the socialists) at their own game ... THE BALLET BOX - VOTING!!
You mean by cheating, gaming the system, outright buying votes with games in pure daylight, harvesting votes, rounding up illegals with dope and booze, and taking them in buses to polls. If we did those things we would be arrested for vote violations - you see its a TWO TIERED JUSTICE SYSTEM TOO AT WORK - WE’VE LOST BOTH - ACTUALLY HAVE ALSO LOST THE PUBLIC WITH A DUMPED DOWN SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR 2O YEARS WHERE THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMN TO LIVE UNDER SOCIALISM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HEAP EITHER SO ...
Next, the paper dollar is gone for our real money and then the govt will tell you what you can really buy with your money and when!
"Trump's biggest loss this week was in Wisconsin, not New York"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
Wisconsin not a big loss imo.
GOP's electoral silver lining: Wisconsin legislative supermajority, Illinois school board wins (4.6.23)
In fact, things are not going well for NY Democratic elite anti-Trumpers.
FEC Commissioner Undermines Entire Manhattan Prosecution, The Trump-Daniels NDA Is Not an Election Campaign Violation (4.7.23)
He has a point, Trump’s attacks on DeSantis shows
that Trump will never change, and those attacks
take attention away from what is really important.
How many posts were seen here about the election in
Wisconsin rather than Trump’s latest insults directed
at DeSantis? Since so many pay attention to what
Trump has to say, did he mention the Wisconsin elections
and its importance?
So the GOP held (not gained) a state Senate seat in Wisconsin which, FOR NOW, gives the Republicans a supermajority and therefore gives the party license to do all kinds of great things like impeach Democrats — as if the RINOs won’t bolt to the left at the first sign of anything “controversial” and even one defection renders the supermajority impotent....
Before we get all drunk on the champagne from celebrating this wonderful event, can someone who actually knows something about the laws in Wisconsin please chime in and let us know what is to stop the true winners on Tuesday — the Democrats — from using their newly gained control of the state Supreme Court to:
a. stop anything and everything the Republican supermajority eventually works up the courage (ha) to attempt, and — even more importantly —
b. invalidate the district maps for the state Assembly, state Senate and Congressional districts and then replace those maps with hyper-partisan Democrat gerrymanders?
Not only will those gerrymanders result in “Goodbye, Republican supermajority” but very likely also “Goodbye, ANY Republican majority at all”. And 2 more Congressional districts possibly/probably flipping from R to D as well — CD-1 and CD-3. Who’s going to stop them?
Seeing as how the Democrats campaigned on doing exactly what I stated in item “b” if they won the Supreme Court election, will somebody who knows the law please enlighten us as to why they somehow WON’T do it?
You and the DeSimps find any reason to knock Trump. So answer this, if the conservatives had a majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 2020, as well as near super majorities in both the WI Senate and Assembly, then why were there voting irregularities and changes to the voting process that went unchecked? The answer is maybe the Republican Party just sucks at almost every level. And where was Ronnie Boy campaigning for Kelly? Oh that’s right, he was plotting his shadow campaign with Rove, Ryan, the Bushes etc.
Yet the Wisconsin Senate now has a veto proof majority.
NOT sure they got a super majority.
Republican retired-—was replaced by a Republican.....
Not seeking Trump endorsement doomed Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate, former president says
It appears that Kelly was not a candidate that the people wanted, and he didn't want to associate with Trump, either.
Yet the story posted by dd1776 triest to blame Trump for the loss...
And the biggest reasons republicans lost the seat, is the left focused on winning the supreme court seat and the rnc did nothing to fight against them for it.
Yes, the Republicans do have a temporary 22-11 supermajority. They had one after the 2022 elections when they picked up 1 seat.
State Senator Alberta Darling retired around Christmastime (which made the margin 21-11) and the GOP very narrowly won the special election on Tuesday to replace her, in a marginal and deteriorating district in the squishy suburbs north of Milwaukee.
its a super majority in the Senate....
