There are 1974 billionaires in America. If the IRS dedicates one agent full-time to each billionaire, what are the other 86,026 agents going to be doing? Are you feeling that boot on the back of your neck yet?

Given that the IRS has already been weaponized against conservatives, it is time to completely abolish the IRS and junk the entire tax code. Move to a federal consumption tax on the sale of new consumer goods and services. This is to be collected by states and transferred directly to the US Treasury. No more tax filings. No more income taxes. No more FICA/MCARE taxes. No more inheritance taxes. No more business taxes. All used goods, autos, homes, etc. are exempt. No more double taxation. No more rules and special programs for retirement. No more capital gains tax. No more interest and dividends tax. No more tax accountants. No more tax lawyers. No more lobbying for tax breaks and picking winners and losers.

Simple. Easy to Understand. You buy something new, then you pay a federal sales tax. Period.

This would make America the number one place in the world to do business. It is a necessary step in on-shoring manufacturing. It make every business more productive since time and money is will not be spent of taxes and taxes do not affect business decisions.

Send these scumbag irs employees to the eff’n unemployment line.

I’d rather the IRS audit the half that don’t pay taxes.

I am sure that Bill, Hillary, Joe and Hunter will be exempt. Also Soros, Kerry and the rest of the communist mafia.

Even if a taskforce of ten goes after each billionaire, the leaves over 68,000 new agents. I’ll maintain these will be marginally trained people who just follow a script and get money by intimidation. They will just be IRS Robo-callers hammering people with tax law.

The IRS is just as weaponized as every other three lettered agency and State Department. They are being used against anyone that steps out of line, like the guys reporting the Twitter Files. IRS shows up at their doorstep during Congressional testimony. Disgusting Congress skank denigrates them, calling them, “So Called Reporters”.

Bloody John McCain had his hand in the IRS attacking Tea Party. Thar was THE BEGINNING.

Thank you for referencing that article ConservativeInPA. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"IRS overhaul aims for tenfold increase in audits of the wealthy"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

A bunch of unconstitutional federal taxes would be eliminated imo if taxpayers, including rich people, got up to speed with the federal government's constitutionally limited power to appropriate taxes.

Congress is limited to appropriating taxes only for what it can reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers and a few other constitutionally enumerated expenses imo.

Also, non-popularly elected bureaucrats, like those running the IRS, should not be making tax rules that citizens are expected to comply with.

After all, the drafters of the Constitution gave qualified citizen voters the express constitutional power to vote "power of the purse" House representatives out of office if taxpayers don't like how the feds are spending our tax dollars which is now a major problem imo.

In other words, post-17th Amendment ratification lawmakers have learned to protect themselves from the wrath of the voters by hiding behind non-elected federal bureaucrats whom lawmaker let get away with stealing state powers to do lawmakers' dirty, unpopular legislative work for them imo.

In FY 22, the odds that someone with an income greater than $1 million would be audited were 1.1%. That is too low a rate of audits.

“it is time to completely abolish the IRS and junk the entire tax code. “

I agree, but Who is going to abolish the IRS? Your elected leaders? Republicans? It’s a dream ..... never going to happen.
