Like the Minsk Accords and stop shelling the Donbas?

“During talks earlier, Macron appealed to Xi to “bring Russia to its senses and bring everyone back to the negotiating table.”

This trip was an absolute debacle for Macron. I have to seriously wonder who advised him to do this.

He would have been better off staying in Paris and watching the demonstrators burn it to the ground.

Macron makes this trip to distract from his failure at home where 73 percent of the people want him to reverse the pension reform he imposed on them like some authoritarian ruler of the Putin or Xi variety.

Macron in China telling Xi to pressure Russia regarding Ukraine war is ridiculous - while Paris burns!

Since multiple European leaders have now confirmed that the Minsk Accords were a ruse to buy time for the West to build Ukraines military for an invasion…

Macron is making a willful effort to elevate China on the world stage by making them a broker for peace in Ukraine.

Putin is more than happy to stop the war because it is draining Russia.

It is draining the EU and America as well.

Macron's EU and the Biden Administration are fueling the war and have been blocking any negotiated peace settlement for a year.

The attitude on the Ukraine conflict is insane.

On one hand , we are told that Russia is so weak they can barely keep fighting in the Ukraine.

Ont the other hand, we are told that the NATO, the EU and the US must stand resolute in backing Ukraine because failure to to so would embolden Russia to try to become expansionist and set out to conquer NATO

I'm confused.

Which one is the truth?

The “foreign affairs trip” is a disaster for starters because it is a distraction from his domestic disaster.

Mainstream media say Macron went on this trip to change Xi’s mind regarding Russia and Ukraine.

No change of mind has occurred.

If that’s the standard the trip is a failure.

He had to raise the pension age from 60 to 64as the pension system is going bankrupt - it already costs 14% of GDP- and no one wanted to do it politically
