People that shop at Wal-Mart can’t afford vehicles that start at $60,000. You can buy a case of three at Sam's for $160,000.

The only charging stations in my area are in the Walmart parking lot. They are never used. Just a rusting hulk taking up valuable parking spaces. We had 16 inches of new snow on Monday. Just the thing for EVs. I wonder how the salted road surfaces impact the battery packs. Whacking a big chunk of ice in a parking lot is a common winter hazard.

We have lots of traffic passing through on the way to visit Yellowstone National Park. I would expect most of the patronage for those Walmart chargers to be long distance travelers. The locals prefer a good gas/diesel 4x4 to handle the Winter weather.

The nearest “public” EV chargers are at the main library and at a Fry’s (Kroger) supermarket. They are adorned with cobwebs.

How many Tesla owners wouldn’t get caught dead shopping at Walmart?
Now they need something to do while their Tesla sets and charges.
Might as well join the crowd ... and spend money.
Get the point?

Will they have overnight accommodations for those folks that have to have their EV auto’s batteries recharged so they can drive home.

The majority of us...92% don’t have an EV. 284 million cars and 1.7 million are EVs

If I lived north of about Kentucky I wouldn't have an EV either. But here in Alabama where it rarely snows and the power is cheaper than most places (even without getting into us having free solar at our house), an EV is worth considering if someone is about to replace one of his cars anyway.
But again, this is free market talking and recognizing that both EV's and ICE cars have strengths and weaknesses. The Dims forcing their usual one-size-fits-few is for communist thinking.

Great, now the Walmart parking lots will be clogged with EV owners waiting to get a charge.

The cord.
Having informed you of such, here is another tip.
Park your ICE car at the charging station. Put the cord under your hood. Charging stations often are as close as the handicap parking.

And the charging cords get stolen and end up at the scrap metal yard. Brilliant!
Walmarts are pretty well covered with cameras. It is not actually a bad fit.

This will not produce anything more than wind turbans do that only mess up the scenery.

You know how easy it is to cut a charging cable?
Walmart doesn’t charge for theft in many states.
So you will not have a reliable place to charge your golfless cart.

I imagine they’ll be by the garages (Most Walmarts around here have car care centers for tires, oil changes, etc.)
