Demonstrators forced their way into the building that houses BlackRock’s office in Paris Thursday, taking their protest against the government’s pension reforms to the world’s biggest money manager.
Videos shared on social media showed protesters entering the Centorial office block, located near the Opéra Garnier opera house, holding red flares and firing smoke bombs.
About 100 people, including representatives of several labor unions, were on the ground floor of the building for about 10 minutes, chanting anti-reform slogans. BlackRock’s office is located on the third floor.
“The meaning of this action is quite simple. We went to the headquarters of BlackRock to tell them: the money of workers, for our pensions, they are taking it,” Jerome Schmitt, spokesman for French union SUD, told CNN affiliate BFM-TV. BlackRock declined to comment.

In Europe they are closer to the “Great Reset” than we are. Storming Blackrock is understandable.

The French are very aware of the tradeoffs they have made with their retirement system.
They pay absurd taxes. Literally almost half their incomes to support their mixed economy. They get long vacations and early retirement as the payback. They are fully aware of the choice they made.
Macron just broke that social contract. The aristocracy does that in France at their peril, and he knows that. The Gendarmes will only protect him up to a point. After that, it’s Bastille Day again.

We laugh and make fun of the French, but they are the ones standing inside Blackrock in France. In the meantime Blackrock is helping our government deal with the mop up from SVB.
What’s ironic is that some aspect of BlackRock is probably funding these protesters.
Yup.
When we protested the obvious electoral corruption, the servants of Blackrock imprisoned thousands. And they are still there.
