Broad Brush. DeSantis, Biden, Harris, Pompeo, Newsome, Haley. None of the mentioned is any better or worst to me. They all represent what is acceptable to the country bosses. Critique you want. I, personally don’t care. To me, what they’ve done and are doing to the country is plain as day. The above do not represent a fix in any way shape or form.

DeS took a big, yuge, credibility hit with his lukewarm support.

Political attack via legal system should always be fought. His listening to consulting hacks was a near-fatal mistake.

Trump is 76 yo. Biden’s even older. Can’t believe the obviously senile Biden will run again if a younger R does. If the choice is between 2 very old coots, Biden might win. I won’t help give him that chance.

DeSantis would be stupid to even think about running. Even teasing a run, getting cozy with the GOP establishment and mixing it up with Trump has damaged his 2028 chance.

We need to stop the infighting and focus on the enemy that is on the verge of destroying the Republic - and it’s NOT DeSantis!

.........

The desantis supporters and nevertrumpers continually push lies and misrepresentations, especially the lie that there was no election fraud.

The claim that there was no election fraud is what the deep swamp GOPe has used and supported to steal the election from Trump and other american first candidates, even at the expense of losing power, as witnessed what has happened in arizona, georgia, pennsylvania, etc.

With these deep swamp rinos supporting and cooperating with the left, and desantis showing he's willing to owe his future to them....

Do you really want to support desantis and the deep swamp, and their attempt to return to power?

“We need to stop the infighting and focus on the enemy that is on the verge of destroying the Republic - and it’s NOT DeSantis!”

—————————————

You’re reasoning was accurate until the assessment above. Yes, we should unite and focus on the democrats in our own party - all of those in DC that are silent….as usual.

BUT - what role does DeSantis play in this ‘infoghting’? What could HE possibly do to end the infighting? The infighting started last fall and what we have seen from DeSantis - nothing. No denial, no affirmation, no comment and when forced to comment on Trump - an underhanded slap on a subject that threatens every citizen. Many say, Trump jabbed DeSantis, why shouldn’t he jab back? Sure……assuming he’s running. But that isn’t the case, he has been silent for months. He IS running but intends to wait for Trump to be indicted by someone somewhere first. The GOPe pushing him convinced him to run because it was guaranteed Trump would be stopped by indictments.

If you were Trump, better yet, Trump supporters, how can DeSantis be viewed as anything besides the opposition to Trump? Which is also defined as the enemy. Now, if DeSantis cared about voters, he would be honest and say ‘I will run if Trump can’t and carry the MAGA torch forward’. But he isn’t honest, he’s an opportunist who has no concern for the split in the party that will lessen the chances of winning the general FOR EITHER CANDIDATE. 10% will not vote for DeSantis because of how he is handling this situation. And the neverTrumpers will do what neverTrumpers did 2016, 2020.

At least the Cruz’ers had a reason to be upset, Cruz announced early. Even then they still had to hold their nose and support Trump. DeSantis is doing very slimy things and it proves he does not care about the voters.

“Do you really want to support desantis and the deep swamp, and their attempt to return to power?”

Read my comment again.

I said I’m Trump 100%.
I said DeSantis should stay in Florida.
I said if DeSantis did challenge Trump he would lose big.
I said it has to be Trump in 2024 because only he can lead MAGA.

Where am I saying I support DeSantis or the deep swamp?

All I said was that fueling the rivalry between DeSantis and Trump is a distraction from the real fight against the deep swamp - and it’s completely unnecessary anyway, since DeSantis doesn’t have a chance against Trump.

I don’t want RINO globalist deep state Republicans any more than you do, but I also don’t want the primary season to be a circular firing squad for Republicans.

And it doesn’t need to be - because Trump already has the nomination sewed up.

This thing with Bragg and the Biden DOJ indicting the presumed opposition Presidential candidate is so disgusting - it has the potential of uniting the Republican Party against a common enemy without MAGA Conservatives having to concede a single thing to the RINO Globalist wing of the the party.

Instead of letting the Democrats divide Republicans against each other, this is a rare opportunity for MAGA to turn the deep state Republicans against the deep state Democrats.

.....

So you want Trump and his supporters to have some sort of kumbaya moment, and stop attacking desantis and his supporters...

while they keep lying about Trump and attacking him and his supporters, and spamming thread after thread?

Emmm.. No.

And that thing about working with the 'deep state'?

It's the 'deep state' swamp rinos that worked with the left to fight against Trump and sought to sabotage him every chance they got, that got this country to where it is today.

Trump will win handily the GOP nomination only to get trounced in the general election …

I agree with you. Trump has the same problem he always has had - though his brusque way of telling the truth about Dems and their policies is to be admired, his very personal and cringeworthy insults of fellow Republicans (De Santis and Barr are only two of the most recent) turn off some Pub voters plus independents and suburban women. I fear we MAGA supporters will be lead over the cliff like lemmings which will continue this country’s decline in our loss of freedoms.

I said if DeSantis did challenge Trump he would lose big time.

I agree - DeSantis is already severely losing the polls.

But if DeSantis miraculously did win the primary, I'd rather hold my nose and vote for DeSantis over demential Biden. Just like I did when I voted for McCain in 2008 over Obama. But most of my friends wouldn't vote at all, and that's how we ended up with Obonehead.
