Roy McGrath, a chief of staff of former two-term Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan turned fugitive who has been on the run from the FBI and federal officials for weeks, is now dead, his attorney said.
Attorney Joseph Murtha confirmed in a statement to Fox News that his client is dead after succumbing to gunshot injuries following a standoff with police late Monday night.
During the standoff, at least one FBI agent fired a weapon and McGrath was injured. Law enforcement officials, however, have not revealed if he was struck by police or if the injuries were self-inflicted.
"Good evening. The FBI has confirmed that Roy has succumbed to his injuries. It is unclear to me at this time if the injury was self-inflicted or was as a result of an exchange of gunfire with the FBI," McGrath’s attorney said. "It is a tragic ending to the past three weeks of uncertainty. I think it is important for me to stress that Roy never wavered about his innocence."

did he know something about the clintons?
FBI practicing for the Trump arrest?
Normally, police custody is “safe and effective” but I do worry that Trump may “die suddenly” of completely natural causes. There’s been a lot of that lately and the media will certainly say that any suspicions would be “without evidence” and already “debunked”.
Jeez Louise...that’s like shooting Mr Rogers.
“Trump didn’t kill himself!”
Yeah—the guy does not look very threatening—what did he do—throw an accounting ledger at the FBI agent?
Dude was evidently tracked by his cell phone.
Darwin Award.
I watched some youtube by a former government guy on what it takes to “disappear”. He helps good people get away from bad people. He said if you are a bad guy you’ll probably get caught. If you are a good person (often an ex-wife or girlfriend) trying to get away you have a chance.
He said it was REALLY difficult, because you have to start over completely. Never contacting old friends, family, only using cash, etc. Using only public transportation, etc. Renting a room or house from private people that don’t run background checks, will take cash for rent. He said getting a fake I.D. in order to get a driver’s license and credit cards is only in the movies. (I’m not sure about that one - I would think you would be able to find somebody?)
Years and years ago my boss told me to change my time sheet and charge a bunch of hours to a government contract. He tried to tell me how the company would get paid regardless, but it would look better for me if I had more billable hours.
We argued about it and I told him here’s my time sheet as it is.
Maybe two months later he told me again to do the same thing. I said something like “What part of no didn’t you understand the first time?”
A year later I left the company. Fast forward another 5 to 10 years and they were in the news for defrauding the government due to falsified time sheets!
