The legal team representing former President Donald Trump reportedly expects that the Manhattan judge will put a gag order on him as the case awaits trial.
A source close to the legal team told the Daily Mail the judge will take an “unprecedented step” to silence the 2024 presidential candidate. The gag order could potentially undercut his ability to campaign on the issue of legal corruption during the primary.
“The Trump legal team now thinks that the Manhattan judge will take the unprecedented step of silencing the presidential frontrunner with an unconstitutional gag order tomorrow,” the source said. “The Trump legal team is considering adding a First Amendment lawyer to the effort to combat this and will fight it all the way.”

2. Trump flies to Florida, begins giving interviews, holding rallies, calling the judge a corrupt communist etc. Says commie judges cannot obliterate the first amd. in a corrupt set-up show trial.
3. DeSantis says, I also support the first amd. Trump is free to speak, like any American. The NY Judge can pound sand.
Then what? Will the DOJ send the federal marshals to arrest Trump in Florida for violating a NY judge’s kangaroo court gag order?

“Gag orders” generally protect the Sixth Amendment right of *defendants* to fair trials.
Defendants still have First Amendment rights.
Ordering any defendant not to speak about his charges would almost certainly violate the First Amendment.
Telling a presidential candidate he cannot respond to allegations—including media leaks—in a political prosecution is un-American.

Trump does not live in Florida year round. In May he usually moves to his summer home in Bedminster New Jersey. Unfortunately the rat Governor here will be more than eager to have Trump slapped in handcuffs and sent back to NY.
If the gag order doesn’t work, the New York prosecutors may resort to the Epstein method.
