Two federal judges on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, both appointed by former President Donald Trump, have announced that they will no longer hire law clerks from Stanford Law School.
The boycott is in response to the mistreatment of a fellow judge during a recent visit to the California school.
Judges James Ho and Elizabeth Branch had previously announced a similar boycott of Yale Law School last year, after a series of free speech incidents in which they complained about the school's approach to 'cancel culture.'

Good
That ought to drop Stanford’s Social Credit Score a notch or three...
It’s not just Stanford. There are very few law schools that are not woke. That goes for ALL professions. For your children, “choose wisely”.
Likely there are a few conservative law students at Stanford. Now these individuals are cut off from an important early stepping stone to becoming a federal judge.
Our nation was founded on the concept of individual liberty, not group identity. It is Democrats who judge individuals by group affiliation. True conservatives evaluate people by their individual character, behavior and performance. The Republican judges who refuse to hire clerks from Stanford, are behaving like leftists.
Our nation needs courageous conservatives as judges. Any conservative law student who can perform well in a prestigious woke law school, and steadfastly defend conservative positions in that environment, has the intelligence, conviction and backbone to stand for liberty and the Constitution through a long career on the bench or in politics. Hopefully this policy of excluding all Stanford students doesn’t deprive the nation of a future Antonin Scalia or Clarence Thomas serving on the Supreme Court or as Attorney General.
Given that almost all law schools and their students are woke, the challenge for conservative judges concerned about the nation’s future is finding and nurturing the best young conservative legal minds wherever they attend school. We need the best and most courageous engaged in the fight for liberty, no matter where they attended law school.
Good. Let’s hope Florida judges join the effort.
Spread the word - stand up to totalitarian thugs and bullsh*t academics.
A very fine statement of how totalitarianism functions, whether one calls it Communism, socialism such as National Socialsim or international socialism, Fascism and even "democracy" when 51 percent vote to require "submission and self-censorship of 49 percent."
Why were we founded as a free Republic? As a bulwark against this type of "intolerant tolerance" -- as Marcuse taught -- and "struggle sessions and more from the oppressive totalitarians.
Liberty is hated by these totalitarians. Love liberty and love life. It annoys them greatly.
Hiring clerks who are conservative shouldn’t be too hard.
Just see if the applicant can answer questions in a sane, intelligent manner with A HEALTHY KNOWLEDGE OF THE LAW.
Pepperdine has a wonderful law school AND although it sits right on the ocean in Malibu you NEVER hear of these WOKE students riling up trouble there!!!
Wow..two of them committed to not hiring woke POS for interns from Stanford... That will impact 3 or 4 people tops.
How do you know someone went to Stanford?
They tell you.
Awesome!!
No elite law school graduate planning for a Deep State career would DREAM of clerking for a Trump-appointed judge, so while the gesture is a nice one, it’s meaningless.
It is probable that if you go to Yale Law, Stanford Law, Columbia, Harvard, Berkeley, or any other ruling class incubator, and if you so much as have an email or contact information from a Trump-appointed judge or justice on your phone, your career will be over before it begins, except for “red car hit the blue car” work.
I had an employee who is very liberal. His son got a degree in journalism and through some means ended up having a one on one lunch with justice Scalia. The son was a liberal like his dad but after that lunch he decided to go to law school and started living conservative principals. Dad was enraged but the son kept his new beliefs. He is still conservative to this day. So people can change with proper guidance.
This story is a good reminder how, with the stolen election, we were cheated out of 4 more years of Trump judicial appointees and why that is important.
“The boycotts will only apply to future students and not those currently enrolled as law students at the school.”
Well, that’s foolish. Their “boycott” is meaningless if it doesn’t apply to the students that actually were involved in the actions against Duncan.
Excellent. Now file complaints with the Bar Associations.
Ruin their lives.

Excellent
Excellent.
