The lawyer who represented the 'QAnon Shaman' in his trial for storming the Capitol on January 6 has said that his client has been released from prison to a halfway house.
Jacob Chansley, 35, pleaded guilty in September 2021 to civil disorder and violent entry to the Capitol, among other charges, and was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison.
In a statement to DailyMail.com on Thursday his attorney Albert S. Watkins said he had been released from prison to the custody of a halfway house.

Keep in mind, we the taxpayer will pay for the damages. What needs to happen is the J6 committee be sued as individuals who violated citizens civil rights by not reviewing the videos.

Good. He seems a bit unbalanced, but that’s not a crime. My own personal view is that he did nothing more serious than trespassing (if that - what protest is ever done that didn’t affect someone else’s rights to some extent?). At most, he was guilty of a misdemeanor and should have been released after a couple of days or weeks in prison. Unfortunately, he now has a felony record and an FBI file - his life will always be affected by this nakedly political prosecution (as will many others).

This seems to be the deal, probably reached with his attorney. I guess he won’t get to work for a white shoe law firm with his face all painted like that. When Trump gets in he’ll pardon him.
