A Minnesota town outside of Minneapolis has been ordered to evacuate Thursday morning after a train carrying "a form of ethanol" and "a corn syrup liquid" derailed and caught on fire, police say.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway told FOX Business that its train came off the tracks near Raymond around 1 a.m.

The cause of the derailment was not immediately clear.

I still religiously buy ethanol-free gas for small engines (i.e. mower, tiller). To be honest, I now have more battery powered outdoor tools like blower and weed trimmer.
Simple solution; slow down the trains. These trains of 120 or more cars are running at 70 miles per hour and the bearings and axle assemblies were never designed for that speed and consequently the bearings are failing. How dumb are these train masters?
I suspect the country of origin of those bearings.
My 2005 Honda Pilot has started a dry bearing type of noise and I asked if there were any grease fittings . . . nope.
THAT led to my question if the auto part industry has been overtaken by China and he said, "Pretty much".
I remember learning a couple of years ago where our drugs came from and was shocked to learn MUCH comes from China.
No WONDER That commie bastard always has a smirk on his face.
I bet Warren Buffet has one hell of a HUGE insurance policy on that train. Just paid off????
Re: 21 - These mean NOTHING without a comparative analysis of historical derailments, faulty issues, accidents and forest fires.
Good grief.
All big plus signs for typical fool liberals.
God knows it just wouldn’t be right to try to save some of it.
By law the producers have to denature it at the point of production so that it can’t be consumed.
ButtJudge is on the case.
How about spending some of those trillions for infrastructure on the railroads? Or are they only for windmills and solar panels?
