So if he wasn’t driving “erratically and chasing pedestrians.” it would be OK to chase pedestrians?

Sometimes, you just gotta chase pedestrians with a stolen forklift.

Considering what’s become of Portland in the past 10 years I would think being chased by a forklift is no big deal.

Was this Portland pilferer wearing one of these gustatory utensil t-shirts during his erratic and reckless forklift forays?
To: chief lee runamok
At least he wasn’t lifting with his back.

It was Wednesday/Hump day, and most folks get good and liquored up at lunch... at least where I work, down on the piers.

One of my kids stole a forklift once. He worked for a construction company that went bankrupt. On the last day, he delivered some equipment to the yard, locked up and left. He decided to explore the dirt road by the yard. 3/4 of a mile down, he drove over a large patch of ice that turned out to be a sinkhole, this drowning his pickup. Dirt road towing was $500.
He returned to the yard and liberated a 4wd Forklift. He dragged his truck out of the sinkhole and down to the road. Little criminal.
