An explosive report has blown the lid off a NATO nation's 'sham' support for Ukraine. Estonia, a NATO member, is allegedly using European Peace Facility (EPF) funds to renew its own weapons while sending old stocks to Kyiv, according to a Politico report. The European Peace Facility (EPF) fund is intended to partially reimburse countries that have sent military aid to Ukraine but is now reportedly being exploited. According to seven EU diplomats quoted in the report, Estonia is sending its scraps to Ukraine and buying brand new material for itself, financed with EU money. The report, however, is set to cheer Russia, which stands vindicated on its claims that NATO and the EU are using Ukraine as a tool for their own benefit.

sounds reasonable, I dont think anyone is sending the latest cutting edge tech. You send what you can in situations like this and a slightly out of date weapon is better than nothing

That was what was supposed to happen.
The program is operating as intended.

Good way to eliminate old weapons and upgrade to new ones.
Sounds like a plan to me.

An explosive report has blown the lid off a NATO nation's 'sham' support for Ukraine.
NATO support for Ukraine has always been more symbolic than substantive. In the West, virtue signaling is far more important than achieving actual results. Look back at our entire COVID policy.

There is nothing new about this, that was among the benefits of Ukraine’s success in fighting off the Russians to the point they started receiving large support, we ship them our old weapons and replace the old stock with new.
I have been posting on that for most of the last year, and it has been written about frequently in the media.
We not only get fresh and modernized weapons in our warehouses we also got rid of close-to-end-of-life weapons that we were going to have to pay high prices to dispose of.
Not only do we get rid of end-of-life weapons and old stock, but they are also being used against the very enemy they were built to be used against and destroying their stuff.

Yes. That is exactly what is happening.
- US and NATO send mostly left overs to Ukraine.
- Ukraine degrades Russian military for their own and everyone else's benefit.
- NATO boosts defense spending and buys new equipment.
- Russian military no longer a threat for a couple decades.
(Except when defending Russia. No one will invade Russia.)
Guess what?
ITS WORKING.
If Russia finds this unacceptable, then Russia can leave Ukraine.

True.
Another factor is the West doesn’t have the manufacturing/industrial capabilities & capacity to see their anti Russian policies through to fruition.
We can “talk the talk” but we can’t “walk the walk.”
