An IRS agent stopped by the home of Twitter Files journalist Matt Taibbi the same day of his congressional testimony on the weaponization of the government, according to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, who’s demanding an explanation over the oddly timed visit.
Jordan sent a letter to IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel and the Department of Treasury on Monday in hopes of getting to the bottom of why the federal agent appeared at Taibbi’s New Jersey home on March 9 and left a note, according to an editorial in The Wall Street Journal that cited the letter.
The note reportedly instructed Taibbi to call the IRS four days later.
When he did, an agent told him his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had both been rejected due to identity theft concerns.
Taibbi has been deeply involved in researching and reporting the Twitter Files — based off a trove of internal documents at the social media giant meant to expose unfair bias in the company’s past content moderation and the social media giant’s previous contact with government officials.

People can say what they want about the corruption in Ukraine and claimed corruption in Russia, but the US is clearly in the running for the top spot.
They have no desire to be subtle. They want to send a message. Fear us.
How much worse was Obama and now Biden than what Nixon just thought of doing?
That can work both ways.
IT'S TIME.
Gestapo tactics.
The new boss is the same as the old boss..... think about it.....
At least Hitler used the law via the Enabling Act of 1933 (made possible by the Reichstag Fire) to weaponize the government and the media, etc., against his opponents.
The Democrats did it without legal authority and the various institutions that have become weaponized seemingly just volunteered.
Hitler used the law.
The Democrats (i.e., neo-Marxists) used brainwashing and indoctrination.
It turns out that, in the matter of weaponizing the government and American institutions, the Democrats have outshown Hitler by an order of magnitude.
The solution is simple and it would immediately increase productivity which is needed to fight inflation. It would make America the best place in the world to do business from a tax perspective. That, along with regulatory reform, needs to be accomplished.
A simple, flat rate consumption tax on new products and services, collected by the States and sent to the Treasury is the solution. No more business taxes. No more income taxes. No more tax forms. No more inheritance taxes. No more capital gains taxes. No more double and triple taxation. No more tax accountants and lawyers. Business can focus on business and their productivity instead of tax avoidance to increase profits and shareholder wealth.
Oddly timed visit?
No...Stasi tactics. The Gestapo were amateurs in comparison.
Time is short folks. The one world satanic government does not care about laws or due process or constitutional rights. We are heading into an era of authoritarian rule by evil people.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, now is the time.
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.”
See tagline.
IRS = American Gestapo
The one time I had to deal with the IRS (I won) they sent me a letter. They did not come to my house. What the IRS did to Taibbi was plain and simple itimidation.
You are 100% correct. The tax code is complex by intention of Congress. These corrupt politicians "carve out" exceptions for business due to dollars given to them and by corrupt NGOs that also give dollars to them. In defense of business, they are reacting perfectly rationally to a corrupt system. It should also be noted that this corruption extends to both democrat and republican parties. A flat tax or national sales tax would eliminate much corruption and funding of useless programs by congress. Congress will fight any reform of the tax code.
Nice house ya got here, Matt.
Wanna keep it?
Give us a call at this number.....
Correct. Big business will lobby for changes in tax code that benefits them. I really can’t blame them, but the result is the tax code is then used to pick winners and losers. Small business gets left behind. The regulatory code is used in the same way by big business. Proof that it works: as of last week the S&P was up 4% and the Russell 2000 was down by 20%. I believe the time period for that is either the last year or since Biden took office. The source of that was from a chart Steve Cortez displayed on Bannon’s War Room.
biden has weaponized the irs and the fbi, making him a fascist dictator.
