And DeSantis is running. Trump knows that, I know that, and even you know that if you’re being honest with yourself. DeSantis’s comments and actions over the past few days have made that obvious. DeSantis has always planned to run, but he wants to have it both ways, which is why he hasn’t officially announced. Trump is smart enough to understand this and smart enough to not let DeSantis get away with the pretense.
