There has to be a word in some language to describe how not only is this a bad idea, for Biden in particular it is an extraordinarily bad idea. This is, absolutely, the single worst issue for him to pursue.
The last time he pushed gun control was in the 1994 Crime Bill and Feinstein's Assault Weapon Ban. The Democrats lost 50 seats in the house and it took 10 to 15 years for them to recover for a few years before declining. Right now the Democrats in the House are close to where they were after 1994. Pushing gun control now is suicidal.
What is Cornyn thinking? Opposing Biden on this is a no brainer, sure-fire winner for Republicans. SMH.
