Salvador Ramos (Uvalde) was staying with his grandparents, but he was only 18 and came from a very poor and broken home. How many 18-year-olds can go live on their own with no parental help? No car, no rental history or credit score, no furniture, no household goods, and whose only prospects are minimum wage jobs, if they can find a way to get transport to said jobs? A few manage it somehow, after working summers while in high school and saving up for a car, etc., and finding roommates, at least one of whom has a parent willing to co-sign an apartment lease. Most kids that age who appear to be living on their own have a car provided by parents, insured by parents, and many other things actually provided by parents.
Audrey Hale was reportedly was on the autism spectrum and was also “under a doctor’s care” for “an emotional disorder”. Many young adults with autism still live with their parents, as they can’t make it on their own out there in the adult world, or it takes them much longer to manage that.
The disposable income thing is for real. While the parents might think their child is saving up for a car, deposit for an apartment lease, etc., he or she might actually be saving up to buy guns.
Parents of troubled adult children might need to practice some “tough love” and insist the kid’s paychecks be deposited into a savings account in the parents’ names as the price of remaining in their home, one they have complete control over to make sure the money is used for approved purposes (car, apartment deposit, attend truck driving school, barber college, whatever). But how many parents believe their kid would buy a bunch of guns and go shoot school children?
You noticed that, too, eh? No children or administrative staff anywhere in the school as the police swept through based on the video taken by their bodycams.
What was the shooter firing her firearm at right before the cops shot her to death? No one else was in that area of the school.
Lots of people are slamming her parents from several directions. But can you imagine having to deal with a daughter like Audrey? She had the right kind of smarts to succeed at being deceitful, and to plan and execute her horrible massacre, but lacked the right machinery for what they call “emotional intelligence”, social skills, and other requirements for managing adult life on one’s own. She was probably an easy mark for predatory types.
In earlier pictures, she looks sweet and happy. In later ones, sullen and not at a!l happy. It was reported she graduated from that art school in 2022. I can’t help but wonder whether she was targeted by lesbians and/or recruited into the trans insanity there. She might have become convinced that if only she could change herself into a male, she would be okay in the scary adult world, that she had found a group where she could be cool and fit in and be “special” in a good way, or whatever. And you can just imagine what such people would tell her about her Christian parents and how horrible they were.
It has always been super tough for the parents of a child with a disability. In this sick culture, how do the parents of a child like Audrey cope with all that? Based on what we know so far, I don’t see any reason to blame them.
There were no kids or staff in the halls when the cops swept through because that was part of the school’s active shooter plan. They were on lockdown inside their classrooms.
According to police statements, right before they shot her, she was firing through the window at police cars outside. Watch the video again if you need to. You can see she had shot out that window and you can see the cop cars out there.
Please, just stop with this “Sandy Hoax” nonsense.

Which classroom? Do you mean the reading area where she was killed? That was not a classroom. It was a common area for story time. No doors. No doors to lock. It was like an alcove.
Now that you mention it.. something else in common with all of those users. They all were saying their 1st Amendment rights were being violated, no matter how many times we ‘informed’ him that this is a private site, and that the 1st Amendment has nothing to do with it.

There were a couple of classrooms where the cops went where there were no students nor teachers. Everywhere they went there were no teachers or students. Maybe they all quickly went out the back door and hid in the bushes.
The reason the rooms were empty is BECAUSE when the shooter shot in the door the it set off the alarms, they ALL gathered the 200 students into lockdown, I don’t know HOW those 6 people ended up shot or NOT IN the lockdown facility!!{
