Two new polls from a top Republican polling firm — provided exclusively to Axios — find Florida Gov. DeSantis is running more competitively with former President Trump in Iowa and New Hampshire than he is faring in national surveys.
Driving the news: The surveys, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies from March 21 to 23 for an outside client (not a candidate or super PAC) found DeSantis leading Trump by eight points (45%-37%) in a head-to-head matchup in Iowa and tied with Trump (39%-39%) in New Hampshire.

axios is Comcast. Comcast hates Trump
This is nothing but efforts to try and make it seem like Trump could lose the nomination. It’s complete BS, IMO. If Trump runs for the nomination HE WILL GET IT and that’s what pisses Axios, and all the other TDS haters out there off.
You may not want him, but the nomination is his if he wants it.
They are reporting on a GOP poll in the first two primary states.
Then Trump should welcome the challenge.
The Establishment GOP? The same Establishment that’s pushing DeSantis to run against Trump?
agreed
One word: Axios
Since liberalism is a mental disorder, if you look in the dictionary for the definition of both liberalism and mental, there is an image of Axios.
Axios was former Politico journalists Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen, and Roy Schwartz.
Politico was formed by former Washington Post staff Mike Allen. When Politico was launched, it was touted as a more moderate news site. Within the few weeks that ‘moderation’ was no where to be found. Their liberal mental disorder is ever present, no matter what they call themselves.
Trust them about as much as you trust SloJo Biden and Fauci.
Didn’t realize the Establishment and RNC were interdependent
I’m hoping that my FR friends will be respectful to both Trump and DeSantis over the coming nominating period. I don’t care about what the media tries to do. I want fair reporting and comments on FR.

Two new polls from a top Republican polling firm — provided exclusively to Axios ...Why would any supposed top GOP pollers give anything at all to far-left Axios, never mind exclusively?
Exactly, for now I support both, until it comes time to choose next year.
Ron DeSantis has all of the wrong friends while President Trump has all of the right enemies.
If Trump doesn’t get the Republican nomination I will not be voting for DeSantis or any other GOPe snake because I am tired of eating their sh!t sandwiches.
To hell with the GOP - Trump or nothing.
It’s amazing how quickly this site has turned against DeSantis.
Agree. I’m getting dismayed with the personal attacks on our own. There are some Republicans that are democrats. DeSantis is not one of them.
He will enjoy destroying DeSantis career.
For sport.
“If Trump doesn’t get the Republican nomination I will not be voting for DeSantis or any other GOPe snake..”
Oh gee! I better vote for Trump then. /s facepalm
There are multitudes, millions of people thinking the exact same way that I do.
Trump or nothing.
