Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that under present circumstances, Kiev is currently unable to launch a counteroffensive, blaming the situation on weapons shortage.
"We can't start yet. We can't send our brave soldiers to the front line without tanks, artillery and HIMARS [multiple launch rocket systems]," Zelensky said in an interview with Yomiuri Shimbun daily.
He continued, saying that the situation in the country's east is "unfavorable" and that Ukraine is currently waiting for its allies to supply it with weaponry.
This comes shortly after Zelensky beseeched European leaders to deliver lethal weapons at a faster rate than they are being delivered, as he addressed a gathering of his EU allies via video link from a Ukrainian train.
He further warned that any delays in sending fighter jets and long-range missiles could prolong the war.
It is worth noting that Ukraine has constantly pleaded with its Western allies to send modern warplanes and long-range missiles. However, most of Kiev's backers have so far refused to provide Western-made aircraft.
Supplying Ukraine with Western jets or allowing the use of foreign airfields by Ukrainian jets to attack Russian targets would, according to Russia, be considered "the involvement of these states in armed conflict." So far, this consideration has driven the US and NATO decision-making on how they aid Ukraine, which is why it seems that the West may back down on supplying Ukraine with fighter jets, at least for the time being.
Commenting on Zelenzky's remarks on Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron assured that EU leaders informed Zelensky that they would support Kiev.
EU leaders also backed on Thursday a plan to fasten the delivery of ammunition to Ukraine, the acquisition of artillery rounds in bulk, and the expansion of Europe's own military manufacturing capacity. The EU approved a $2.14 billion plan earlier this week to give Ukraine one million rounds of ammunition.
Indeed. That stunt would years ago have caused quite a stir, and may have led to most people stopping for just bit to think to themselves “Hey, wait a minute. This isn’t right. Who is this guy again, and why are we playing with matches around the powder keg of WWIII?” Today, a different story; we’re a different species.
Last trip she bought clothes, jewelry, boobs, (look at before after pics) and something else I cant say or I’ll get in trouble here again.
This war will not last another year. Kiev will launch another attack or two but I don’t think they have the juice to seize much more land. Lots more people on both sides will die—BUT without outside military help—Ukraine has lost—They must get support from a major power (like the USA) if they are to make any headway and that support is getting limp as losses mount. If I was old Zelenskyy I would do anything, even kill Americans (blame Putin naturally) to get US Troops and USAF No Fly Zone over my nation. Otherwise he is a dead man. The end? One would be Zelenskyy deposed like Mussolini and new Government make a deal with Russia to stop the fighting. We shall see.
What happened to the money we already sent?
How do you launder 155mm shells and HIMARS rockets?
I’ve asked that over and over, with no answers.
Save your vitriol for those who are taking sides in this. I’m not.
1 million rounds of 155mm. That’s 100lb of forged and machined steel, copper driving bands and high explosive, with a rather fancy fuse. Oh, and a big brass case, primer and @20lb of propellant.
Those are not your bulk 9mm.
They’ll lose even more men if they go on the attack. It’s the nature of the conflict that the attackers suffer higher casualties.
“This ship is to monitor and launch if the USA does something stupid like a First Strike. Russia will take out our eyes in the sky, blitz the electrotonic net and send in their armor. We may well be at war by Monday....”
I am really happy that one didn’t happen! But, we didn’t do anything stupid to cause it—GREAT! For predictions like that—It remains possible—But I am very glad it didn’t happen! I hope I am always wrong about Nuke war!

Remember the screaming about how the Iraq wars were always about oil ? And how the left STRETCHED reality to place that money directly in the pockets of Bush and Cheney ?
Well here we see that Russia, after having been fleeced to move their oil through the pipelines that RUSSIA built - being held hostage to the whims of the now-formed Ukraine to the tune of hundreds of billions - has clearly ok’ed NATO/US to blow up those pipelines but only if we send them the money that they were making.. even during the invasion.
And we are quite clear, and have been since before 2009, that the Bidens are heavy investors in it - using political influence to support their investments.
So the Ukraine allows the pipelines to be blown up, but since then just gets whatever money they ask for. And that money goes into the pockets of the Bidens.
Literally, hundreds of thousands of people are dying so that the Bidens get rich on oil.
Not even a stretch here. That’s what is happening. And I hope that the Ukrainians know this.
And zero curiosity from “the Watchdog Press”...

Speaking of his faux-military outfits - Zel wears a green coatume but he’s actaully a draft dodger.
He was fag-dancing in heels and playing naked guitar while someone else was doing his military duty.
