Kari Lake scores win as Arizona Supreme Court sends part of her lawsuit back to trial court

The Arizona Supreme Court ruled Wednesday to send a piece of former GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake's election lawsuit back to trial court to examine whether or not Maricopa County followed signature verification policies in 2022.

The order states: "IT IS FURTHER ORDERED remanding to the trial court to determine whether the claim that Maricopa County failed to comply with A.R.S. § 16-550(A) fails to state a claim pursuant to Ariz. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(6) for reasons other than laches, or, whether Petitioner can prove her claim as alleged pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-672 and establish that 'votes [were] affected "in sufficient numbers to alter the outcome of the election”' based on a 'competent mathematical basis to conclude that the outcome would plausibly have been different, not simply an untethered assertion of uncertainty.'"

Maricopa County voter chiming in...

The crux of the matter is that approximately 36,000 votes that were unaccounted for... were included in the vote total by a third party counting the votes- RUNBECK.

Lake lost to Hobbs by about 17,000 votes.

Nothing to see here.

Even if she ultimately loses, it de-ligitimizes her crooked opponent. Win/Win.

It is certainly NOT a win for the citizens of AZ. as Hobbs is allowed to destroy the state for 4 years, just like Biden is destroying our country!!!

That’s exactly what’s been happening.

In the 2020 election challenge in Arizona a judge allowed a random 2000 ballots to be sampled for signature matches.

The Democrats’ own handwriting expert testified that ELEVEN PERCENT of the ballots did not pass a signature match check. This, in a state decided by less than 1% of the vote. The judge then did not allow any more ballots to be signature match checked and threw the case out.

Anybody think the same BS didn’t happen in 2022 in Arizona OR that there was a real signature match check done? Puhleaze. We all know the answer to that.

That is all she needs. It is the vital thread that could start the unraveling of Maricopa County fraud. Which is precisely why the first judge threw it out.

That signature verification piece is so strong that a first grader could make proper decisions on validity. Literally. That’s probably why the judge the first time around threw it out.

I still don’t have much hope that the final verdict will be honest since Soros has given us so many judges, AGs, etc.

“Now he’s on the hook to pay attention and actually pretend to be impartial.”

So it will be the same judge as before? (Admit I didn’t read the whole article.)

How many “signature verification” ballots are we talking about?

True, but at least she and Brandon and all future election cheats will know that the candidates whose elections were stolen do have some recourse if they’re willing to fight. Hobbs would also be destroying AZ if she didn’t fight, so it’s good that she fights, and even better that she’s got a partial win.

Reminds me of the “natural born” lawsuits filed against obama/soetoro/what ever his real name is. File before the election, the court says “The election has not been held, the candidate has not been elected, therefore no harm has occurred, suit has no standing. Case dismissed.” File after the election, the court says “The voters have spoken, the candidate has been elected, no standing to overturn an election. Case dismissed.” Can’t win. Catch 22.

This is correct. The rats found out in 18 that it is pretty much impossible to get a court to even hear evidence let alone delay or reverse an election “result”. So the rats know they have an open field and they use it more with every election. I think it is a consequence of Bush v Gore when that pos tried to get recounts in cherry picked precincts in Fla. it turned into an ugly spectacle and the courts want no part of it. So millions of voters are disenfranchised every election

based on a 'competent mathematical basis to conclude that the outcome would plausibly have been different

So a minor incursion of illegal election fraud is O.K. then?

I believe that’s the way it works. It’s a remand back to the trial court, which assumptively means that judge.

But as others pointed out there’s no big win here. The AZ supreme court basically sneered at the obvious civil rights violations when literally thosuands of Maricopa county voters were kneecapped in their attempt to vote that day. And other points that Lake’s team clearly documented.

They just sent back one little bone of contention. They should have ordered a revote in Maricopa County overseen by a big bad judicial special master. If it was a black county in Mississippi, that’s what would have happened.

This was THE most important part of her suit and THE part that could actually result in overturning an election. If it is proven that more than the “normal” (about) 2% of signatures are messed up, it would affect the outcome of the election.

AZ court was ridiculous, they basically admitted the election was screwed up, but ruled since no “intent” was shown in all that confusion to affect the election that the election stands.

Hopefully there will be a revote in the form of a special election. The AZ Supreme Court has still done more than any other court to date on these issues.
