I'm not asking you to believe it. Just compare it to the Russian media publications you've been seeing, and decide for yourself.

Why would the Russians or another sane leader take advise from the Biden regime?

We used depleted uranium munitions in Iraq. It is slightly radioactive, less than naturally occurring uranium ore. One hazard is that while very heavy, it is subject to spalling and producing dust upon impact, which can be inhaled by anyone in the immediate vicinity, which could be significantly harmful to health over time.

LOL, so our idea of winning in Ukraine is to make it a nuclear wasteland. I suspect Russia wouldn’t mind that outcome and just may join in the fun, probably starting with throwing a bit of ‘dirt’ on Kiev.

I have no doubts that you and this administration will continue to make bad decisions regarding Ukraine and foreign policy, in general.

The Russians can prevent their tanks from being destroyed by depleted uranium slugs. They can move the tanks to Novosibirsk.

“”If Russia is deeply concerned about the welfare of their tanks and tank soldiers, the safest thing for them to do is move them across the border, get them out of Ukraine,” Kirby added.”

That teenage girl worthy snark is what we get today from a retired US Navy Admiral. Our pussified military at it again.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that being on the receiving end of a high density, depleted uranium artillery or tank round is much more hazardous to your health than any long term risk should you happen to survive?

Such a divergence. I read this and just see a swarmy coward on our side. It only makes me side with Russia more.

And after dealing with the hidden Stasi-like domestic surveillance in the US due to my political activism online for conservatism, I was already viewing “our” side as quite the enemy.

[...] and that Russia's claims that they are a step toward escalation are groundless.

Quite correct!

When a woman being attacked by a rapist knees the rapist in the groin, that isn't an "escalation."

That is "self-defense."

If reports are all false and that **** doesn’t cause cancers and birth defects, then Brits and Americans should invite Russians to blow some of that ammo off against some steel armor plate in London and DC...

This is the same simple minded pap we get from every simple minded neocon (foreign and domestic) here, daily.

Depleted uranium is U238, and is only very slightly radioactive. There are potassium isotopes that are more radioactive.

But it’s still a heavy metal, like arsenic or lead or cadmium or mercury, and chemically it’s still very toxic.
