A former Trump White House aide lamented Tuesday that former President Trump has “learned nothing” from the events of Jan. 6, 2021, after he urged supporters to protest his potential indictment in New York City.
Sarah Matthews, who worked on the Trump campaign and as a deputy press secretary in the Trump White House, said on CNN she’s “definitely worried” the former president’s language leading up to potential charges against him in a hush money payment, though she downplayed the likelihood of violence like two years ago.
“I think it goes to show he’s learned nothing in the aftermath of Jan. 6,” Matthews said. “The rhetoric he was using was similar to the rhetoric he used around Jan. 6. I think in his Truth Social post he said that they needed to protest to ‘take back our nation.’”
“I do think at the same time we’re probably not going to see the same response from his supporters that we saw regarding January 6th,” she added. “I don’t think it’s going to be the same level.”

Another bad hiring choice by Trump. Is there anyone he picked that hasn’t stabbed him in the back. Is he a bad chooser, bad person, or both?

If folks were gonna protest, they would be out protesting. Truth is, however, protesting - or more specifically, protesting leftist actions - is now illegal. You no longer have a right to protest in America. If you do, you will be thrown in prison indefinitely and badgered into submission, just as the J6 group has. So no, protests over Trump's arrest are the last thing anyone should be worried about at this point.
What's funny is that, back during the 2016 campaign I believe, the leftist media had a meltdown over Trump saying something to the affect of "calling on the 2nd Amendment people". Wouldn't do him a damn bit of good, however, because those people, even the most ardent, have given themselves over to peaceful slavery.

I chalk it up to there are exceedingly few decent people in America to hire…and even fewer who want any part of D.C. or it’s crap. He had for the most part a choice between really bad and even worse…do you want to hire a sociopath today or go all in on the psychopath? Way too many positions to fill, far too few decent people that want any part of the D.C. world.

Is there anyone he picked that hasn’t stabbed him in the back.I think the problem is the entire pool of applicants are corrupt. There doesn't seem to be an honest individual among people involved in any way with government.
Pigs at the trough.

Yep, Trump should have paid attention...to Schumer, who clearly told him that the Deep State cabal has six ways from Sunday to get you.

Oh, I am so sure he just blithely went along ignoring what Schumer stated, and was simply clueless, right?

The thing to learn from Jan 6th is the FBI, DOJ, and msm are corrupt. One should have known that before Jam 6th, however.

She’s 28 years old right now. No experience, no special wisdom. Just a degree from Kent state in mass communication.
She was a coffee girl, the kind politicians over 60 years old pass around. Her job in DC was blow jobs and coffee. Now she is treated like some kind of oracle.

One of the intentions of Jan 6 was to intimidate Trump and his supporters and thereby discourage future protests.
Is that a lesson we or Trump should learn (that if we protest, we will be punished)?
