Sure they’re believable. So what? Lots of politicians, celebrities and even business leaders pay hush money to make accusers go away. They pay it even when the accusations are not true. Its often just easier to pay than it is to try to prove a negative.
Paying an accuser to simply go away is not a campaign finance violation nor is it illegal. The Obama administration already tried to prosecute John Edwards for this very thing under this very theory. The courts shot them down.
Yes. I don't think anybody but Leftist Democrats and Never Trumper RINO Establishment types are going to give this cockamamie theory that it was a campaign finance violation any credence....especially when the courts have already rejected precisely this argument before and the Federal Election Commission already said this is not a violation.

Bingo. Trying to say it was a campaign expense is the flimsiest legal argument ever. If it were not New York he would be pulled from office and probably have his license suspended for such a stunt. Of course, if the parties were reversed, the poll question would be if you support Republican Bragg’s prosecution of a former democratic President’s private consensual affairs from decades in the past.
