“How many believe that this is something that should involve the legal system and criminal charges? Why no poll on that?”

Exactly. That proves this is a push poll.

The methodology is indeed a hoot.

The same large majority believed the Russia hoax but not the Biden China facts with evidence shows how well their mind is.

Sure, it’s believable, but that’s besides the point. Paying “hush money” isn’t a felonious crime.

$17 million paid out annually to settle claims against Congress-critters and staff.

I really wonder what your obsession is with this propaganda publications. Speaking of polls it seems that Trump is pretty popular.

Now for some real news from John Solomon the guy who used to work for The Hill, but left that filthy place.

Trump says the affair never happened— I don’t know who is telling the truth...

Daniels also said so.

Ask the same people in the same poll if they understand the law: Is it illegal to make an agreement to pay someone to keep quiet about something that was not illegal in the first place???

Pelosi authorized the payment of $17 Million in hush money to settle 268 cases of sexual harassmen, to date none of the alleged predator’s names have been released.

Why do Presidents sign budgets with money for that?

Somebody should ask the five people they polled that if the allegations were credible, why the Feds passed on doing anything. The Feds are known for going after all their political enemies, and previously tried to burn Trump with a fake Hillary Clinton dossier, so why not the NDA?

Disinfo push poll, probably. Who would ever trust Reuters to be objective?

I don’t know who is telling the truth but he has a better record for telling the truth than Stormy Daniels. Even if it is a total lie, it would have hurt Trump before the election because millions of people would have assumed the accusations were true.

When this whole thing started there were several high-power lawyers who came to Trump's defense.

They all stated that wealthy people, especially the extremely wealthy like Trump, had lawyers to evaluate accusations and pay accordingly. For the extremely wealthy the payment amount that Daniels accepted was what was usually paid out for unverifiable garbage and they just wanted them to go away. There was a tiered system and if there was a shred of truth then it might make it to the high six digits. If a verified child was a result then large payments in the seven digits would be involved.

There was some idiot on Gutfeld the other night claiming that he was convinced it happened due to the amount. He was too stupid to realize that just over $100K for a billionaire was not even on the radar. The money was used to keep the whore from being more of an annoyance. Also, Trump is a bit of a germophobe and he could have way too many better women to bed if he so wanted. Getting some from a skank like Daniels with all the attendant germs would be too repulsive for Trump.

It is a shame our current news organizations, including Fox, are leftist mouthpieces who have no problem destroying the greatest country in the history of the world.

A large majority of Americans in a new poll said they find it believable that former President Trump paid adult-film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election to keep her from talking about an alleged affair between the two.

Interesting how they imply controversy, while missing the question.

Of course he did that - whether the affair occurred or not.

It is also the implication that it should have been considered a campaign donation when THAT would be illegal.

They don’t sign - it’s a perpetual fund it seems. The $17 M was paid out under Ryan (not Pelosi as I stated before) and going back several years before his time.

“The exact source of the money is still a question: The spokesperson told me that money for the fund is not included in the yearly legislative branch appropriations budgets.”

“The Settlement and Awards Fund isn’t the only fund made up of unlimited taxpayer money to solve the government’s legal problems. If you sue the United States government, your settlement will be paid by the same fund used to pay the Iranian government $1.3 billion in interest, part of an effort to end a financial dispute between the two countries and hasten the return of five Americans being held in Tehran (including Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian.)”

“This fund is called the Judgment Fund, established by the Automatic Payment of Judgments Act of 1956 to be “a permanent appropriation for the payment of certain types of judgments and settlements obtained against the United States.””
