As businesses around the country struggle to hire the teams they need to grow, part of the solution lies in early childhood education.
What do child care and business growth have in common? Everything, as I told lawmakers I met on the Hill last week.
Even before the pandemic, an estimated half of all American families lived in “child care deserts,” communities where there simply is not enough child care to meet demands. We lost thousands more child care providers during the COVID years, and as a result, parents – particularly lower income families and rural Americans – are often forced to forgo training or work outside the home at a time when their households need the money and the labor market is clamoring for them.
To meet labor needs and give children the caring support that neuroscience tells us they need for healthy brain growth, we need to make a greater collective investment in the infrastructure of child care in this count

“equitably”
If nothing else the Left is good at making up words to fit their agenda ... which is a totalitarian government ... with them eternally in charge of course.
Equal means “the same”. Equity means “that which he deserves”. Lefties conflate the two, sometimes because of ignorance and stupidity, and other times to hide their agenda
Bingo. Or even school-schooled, Old Style. Thieves have gutted the Middle Class, though, and the masses bought into the idea that women belong in the workplace, not the home. As a result, housing (and other) prices skyrocketed as household income increased, and kids have been neglected. Not so sure it was such a good deal after all...
If “equity” is to replace “merit” as the law of the land I demand that 70% of NBA players be white.
There must be 100 federal programs to teach tot’s before kindergarten. None of them have worked. NONE. Education is at least 20 times worse than 50 years ago.
Many of us remember all the “Head Start” debates decades ago. Here we are with the same old tired, lame argument.

I fully recognize that not everybody had the same opportunity to graduate, but for it to work we need a functional education system.
Amen!!!!
I guess brown kids are at a total disadvantage because they are stuck with brown parents or something
Head Start didn’t work.

a simultaneous general strike against groomer fascist corporations wouldn’t be a bad idea.
You can’t be serious… the traditional family never works. The only family one should have is the ones appointed by our #RulingClass or maybe #TrustTheExperts.
Traditional family would not teach them the importance of chemical castration and mastectomies for teens.
Learning to read and write would upset #TheRulingClass . They made sure to stop teaching cursive so no one would know what those pesky founding documents say.
More government spending is not the answer to anything.
Child care? NO. Moms at home, who have husbands. Imagine that! Black families had that before the Democrats’ “Great Society” Satanic master plan.
Kali...isn’t she a Hindu goddess of death?
