DeSantis might as well have called on Trump to be jailed for life - he got the same response as if he had both from Trump and from some here on this very forum.
I think you better study history a bit more.
Or he could have gone on the offensive and said "why haven't we indicted Hillary for her criminal actions or Bill for lying under oath, or Lois Lerner for destroying evidence, and so on?" But he didn't - proving that he is the usual political hack masquerading as a conservative.
Actually he did - called out the DA for pursuing this worthless case while violent crime is going rampant in his city.

He made a tiny joke about trump in a response that was 90% bashing the dems attempt to persecute him and people still are enraged at him.
Yeah, he was elected thanks to Trump. Everyone on the planet knows this.
That said, the Dems just love it when we fight among ourselves and insult each other.
This two-time Trump voter currently likes DeSantis (RDS) for the nom, but I'll vote unhesitatingly for whoever wins the GOP nom.
I know quite a few previous Trump voters who are just plain sick of Trump's childish name-calling of fellow GOPers, many of whom are potential contenders for the nom.
Trump would be wise to focus his verbal invective toward "Sleepy Joe" and "Crooked Hillary" and try to make some political allies within our GOP.
He won't.
That will make DeSantis really really go to bat for Trump.

I think that DeSantis has wisely largely ignored Trump’s shots. And I agree that Trump is doing himself no favors. There are plenty of worthy targets on the DemocRAT/RINO/NeoCon/Globalist fronts.
He took action and crap-canned them
Trump really, really needs an intervention and simply STFU. This is not the time and place to trash his fellow Republicans, whom he might need support from in the future. And to the forever or always Trump folks, maybe consider that as well here on FR as you go about trashing every that doesn’t drink the Trump Kool-Aid. Let’s play nice.

Supporting other people in your party (that you’re not planning on running against in a primary) is a basic duty not some favor you get credit for just like following recommendations to pick center left SC judges like Kavanaugh. If he endorsed Democrat governors when President and picked far Left SC judges would you be somewhat less but still satisfied with his job performance?
Ron starts out: “I don’t spend my time trying to smear other Republicans.” and then proceeds to take a low blow at Trump, “I don’t know about paying hush money to porn stars”.

People criticize DeSantis for being humorless and not supporting Trump. He makes a statement that supports trump but with a tiny throwaway joke about him and people still arent satisfied. Do they want him to release video of himself supplicating in worship to a giant Trump idol?
