On Saturday, far-left radical group Mask Bloc PDX announced via Twitter that it would be hosting a "funeral" to mourn the death of public health following news that Oregon would be ending its mask mandate for healthcare settings on April 3.
The ceremony is scheduled for Monday March 20, and will take place at Pioneer Courthouse Square, a busy downtown Portland gathering place. Those who choose to attend are required to wear N95 masks, or similar.

I swear there will be people that wear the damn mask until they die. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about people who are buried wearing the mask.

The “experts” cannot stand that “return to freedom” either.
Read a short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne titled, "The Minister's Black Veil." You almost quoted the last line of the story.

Most people got over the listening to the “experts” thing very early in the pandemic. That is why conservative states opened back up in mid to late summer of 2020. The people themselves weren’t going to put up with it. Most were okay with “two weeks to stop the spread” but that was all they were willing to accept.
We realized pretty fast they we were being fed a line of b.s. that was against all previously known medical research and virus outcomes.
Others enjoyed the work from home, check deposited, free money given as the “new normal”. Plus, they got to lecture others for their lack of care for “grandma”. And thus the “Karens” were born! They refuse to give that up!
Just when you thought the crazy in Portland couldn’t get more crazy.
The grass of many years has sprung up and withered on that grave, the burial-stone is moss-grown, and good Mr. Hooper’s face is dust; but awful is still the thought that it mouldered beneath the black veil.
Masks are required for this protest. How do they enforce this? The protest is on public property.
One of my favorite Hawthorne short stories, along with “The Gray Champion” and “Dr. Heidigger’s Experiment.”

Antifa and common criminals are upset because wearing masks might become rare, and thus suspicious and conspicuous. So when they arrive masked, the police will assume they’re there to commit crimes.

Masks are a horror. Never thought we’d be subjected to such a blatant rape of our freedoms.
It was so easy to determine that they were not effective. Just common sense. But hey, follow the “science”, right?
We still have several older women who wear a mask to church - they try to sit away from everyone and have fear in their eyes. I told our Pastor those women worship the Mask more than our Lord.
