Transgenderism IS a mental health issue, wherein nothing is “wrong” with the body, just the mind - identity dysphoria manifested in an errant obsession against the biological body. That obsession can be defeated, instead of placating it, before irreversiable artificial hormone regimens and surgical mutilations of the body are performed. If defeating the obsession does not take place before the body is irreversibly altered, the mind is very likely to eventually wake from the obsession, defeat it, and be locked in with the aritificial body structure it knows is wrong.
If the parents had said “no”, Social Services would have taken the kid and given it to someone who would agree with it.

That likely depends on where you are, but things have been trending that way. A few lawsuits against hospitals and/or doctors may start to turn the tide. Too bad one can’t sue social services.

These people are mentally ill. Gender dysphoria is a recognized mental condition by mental health professionals.
It seems to me that the high suicide rate among transsexual people is due to the fact that they do have a mental condition. We should certainly give whatever help we can render, but appropriate help is not to mutilate bodies and give cross sex hormones.
I know the liberal view is that transsexuals have a high rate of suicide, because society is so oppressive and transphobic against transsexual people. And so transgender people feel so oppressed that they can’t take it anymore.
This is a bizarre world isn’t it?
A serious study I read showed that 81% of these kids have diagnosed clinical personality disorders. Three different disorders EACH on an average. This gender confusion crap is a symptom of these disorders, it is not the cause of these disorders. Which is been pretty much proven by things like the suicide rate of these kids after getting surgeries.
Let me make this analogy. According to the Democrats if a person who has severe OCD washes his hands 50 times a day, to the point where it’s a major disruption of his life, the solution would be to amputate his hands so that he could no longer wash them.
Let everyone who got this procedure sue—everyone should become multi-millionaires at hospital expense. Every doctor who did this sued into poverty—In America that’s how you change things—HIT them in the pocket book.

Surgically mutilating someone with Gender Dysphoria is far worse than prescribing diet pills and liposuction for someone with anorexia, which would have had the doctors thrown in prison and the hospital sued into oblivion.
As if the plandemic, deadly hospital COVID protocols, wholesale lies and persecutions of good doctors, and the “vaccine” fiasco weren’t enough, this is just another good reason to not trust the medical industry.
What they’re telling parents is if they don’t ok the surgery, the risk of the child committing suicide increases. They should be targeting woke teachers and raise minimum age for surgery and associated prescriptions until the person is at least 18. After that, they’re on their own.
They also need to sue EVERYONE in authority pushing it.
Sue school districts, administrators, and teachers if they’ve pushed it without considering the possibility of later regret and a lifetime of major medical issues.
Sue media and Hollywood stars for suppressing information on all the down sides so that children aren’t making anywhere near informed choices.

Yes. This is the only mental disorder where radical, mutilating surgeries are deemed “treatment”. Ask Rosemary Kennedy about that.
Proper mental health care for gender dysphoric is practically nonexistent comprising of only a couple of very short visits to a therapist who is only too eager to recommend puberty blockers and opposite hormone therapy.
What they call “gender affirming” care is just “affirming” an errant lying mental obsession. I consider it akin to “treating” an addict by insuring the addict has access to what they are addicted to, instead of asisting the addict with getting out of their addiction. True sympathetic and compassionate care for someone with an identy dysphoria is to help them get out of the errant mental obsessions they have. Yes, that can be emotionally tense, and requires alot of compassion while remaining steadfast against the lie of the obession. And yes, parents would like it easy, like to avoid the emotionally tense process and just “give in” to the child’s error. But, for the sake of the child’s lifelong happiness giving in to gender dysphoria is not “compassionate”.
Sue them out of existence.
