Advice to Trump Supporters Considering Protesting His Expected Arrest Next Week, from an Experienced Conservative Street Activist
gateway pundit ^ | 3/18/2023 | KRISTINN TAYLOR

Posted on 03/18/2023 10:20:25 PM PDT by bitt

President Trump has called on supporters to protest his expected arrest next week by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on bogus charges arising out of the alleged 2016 Stormy Daniels hush money arrangement. Several so-called influencers are warning supporters to stay home to avoid being entrapped by the feds into another January 6 riot.

As one of the most experienced conservative street activists who was active in our Nation’s Capital for over a decade, I want to offer my advice on whether to go out and protest (yes) and how to do it.

First, some background. I was active in the D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com from 1998 into the early 2010s, but mostly through the end of 2007 when I left the area and returned a few times a year. I organized hundreds of street protests and counter-protests against President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore and other corrupt Democrat politicians. I organized an annual protest of liberal media bias outside the White House Correspondents Dinner for about fifteen years. Through Free Republic, Move America Forward and the Gathering of Eagles, we organized several rallies and counter-rallies supporting our troops in the war on terror in the years after 9/11. On a few occasions, we acted as human shields against the violent left and radical Islamists, protecting The White House, the Danish Embassy, Armed Forces Recruiting stations and even the Washington Post. I also helped organize the FReeper inaugural ball in 2005 attended by nearly 1,000 guests or so.

We dealt with D.C. Police, Capitol Police, Park Police, Secret Service, various other federal law enforcement agencies and the military in demonstrations at the White House, Capitol, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, the old Walter Reed Army Hospital, the Vice President’s Residence, aka “Cheney’s House”, and many locales in and around D.C.

We faced off against communists, anarchists, Black Bloc (pre-Antifa), Code Pink, ANSWER, radical Islamists, Democrats, RINOs, dishonest media and the Westboro Baptist Church extremists.

We did all that by being peaceful and behaving in a civilized manner at all times. We hade a code of conduct that served us well.

Briefly, it read, “No violence, no racism, no profanity, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.”

Things certainly have changed. Back in the early 2000s, I got hit with a flying plastic water bottle in DC, and got spat at in NY by one of the left’s lovely men. That was the worst of it, other than harsh words.

Today they’ll be throwing FROZEN water bottles or bricks. They’ll try to curb-stomp people into brain damage or death. And I am too old and fat and weak to outrun any of them now.

Remember what we saw during the “Summer of Love” two years ago,and expect the same crap to be done to you. Also expect the commies to get away with it. Again.

Sorry for the negativity. I just want people to be realistic about what they will be facing.

Looks like the post was removed. I guess, a working link would suffice.

Thanks for the ping and heads-up.

Our cops here in NYC are still great. They do their job.

Other places not so much sometimes.

I don’t think I would participate today.

But there are other things we can do.

Watching many of the riots a couple of years ago, I noticed they were somewhat peaceful.

Until dusk hit.

Then antifa BLM or FBI from the back of the crowd would throw a frozen water bottle at the cops trying to hold the rioters back.

Then they would come out in force to do their damage!

Yes there are! Thank you Firebrand!

I just posted this thread:

Pro-Trump Christian Leader: MAGA '1,000 Percent' Fighting 'Spiritual War'
Newsweek ^ | On 2/2/23 | By Katherine Fung

Posted on 3/20/2023, 11:48:40 PM by Syncro

Sean Feucht, a pro-Trump Christian leader, thinks that the nation is "1,000 percent" in a spiritual war.

Speaking on Steve Bannon's War Room podcast on Thursday, Feucht, who had visited the Capitol earlier that day, said he felt less spiritual "resistance" than he had in his previous visits.

"It says in the Bible, 'Battle is not against flesh and blood,' and I can tell you—I come to D.C. quite often—and today we were worshiping, actually on the rotunda floor inside of the Capitol, and you can feel it, man," Feucht said. "It's a real spiritual battle that we're in and it's time that we rise up."

The quote he referred to comes from Ephesians 6:12, which suggests that the battle in prayer is not with physical enemies but a spiritual evil. Feucht, the founder of Christian group Let Us Worship and an evangelical musician, came to prominence during the COVID pandemic for his opposition to church closures. In response, he held large outdoor worship gatherings in protest of those restrictions.

On Thursday, Feucht announced he would be touring all 50 U.S. state capitols in 2023 and 2024, focusing on heavily Democratic or heavily Republican states this year and then swing states the next. He said the reason he decided to launch his "Kingdom to the Capitol" tour is because of the spiritual war that the country is facing.

What good did it do for the American colonists to violently protest the Stamp Act?

Lol.

None. Because they didn’t.

There were a few rogue folks who attacked govt officials.

But violence did not end the stamp act. Going through the parliamentary steps and measures and winning the hearts of people is what ended the stamp act.

COMPLETE NONSENSE!

On August 14, 1765, outrage boiled over in Boston, protesters organized the “Sons of Liberty” and took to the streets in a defiant act against British rule. A mob of several thousand people attacked tax agent Andrew Oliver’s office and his home. Less than a year later, on March 18, 1766, the King and Parliament, fearing a revolution, agreed to repeal the Stamp Act.

You need to brush up on colonial history before you open your yap and make a fool of yourself!

Nope! The founders... FOUNDERS... condemned these rogue acts of “violent” protests. And they carried on going through parliamentary procedure over and over and it worked on some things, until it didn’t. But it worked on Stamp Act.

When it stopped working, the clashes began as self defense. NOT outright attacking public officials. And THEN, the founders had the GUTS to outline their stance and and put their names to it and raise an army.

It was very much planned and organized as best they could with leaders of character and courage.

When you ready to do all that, then you can compare.

I’m not certain what your point is, but the diplomatic posturing you seem to be focused on did nothing to prevent the outbreak of a war in which tens of thousands of American and British combatants perished.

Hmmm, seems no one agrees they do this to make a mostly peaceful protest turn into a violent riot.

I watched it happen in real time over and over again.

Political prisoners aren’t the American way... either is a double standard on protesting.

These are ugly times.
