Good evening, luvie, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thanks for the hymns.
Hi Kathy! I hope you have a Blessed Sunday, too! Hope you can get some rest!
Howdy, luvie.
Have a good day? Less wind for a change? Should be less because I think it was all over here. LOL
Welcome Troops, Veterans, Families, and Allies!
God Bless You and Keep You Safe.
Thanks, unique, for our troop blessing.
Keep the Lord’s Day in the Lord’s way.
A blessed Fourth Sunday in Lent aka Laetare (Western)/Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross (Orthodox) to all!
Hey there, radu!
Yep....we let you borrow the wind for a couple of days. I’m sure it’ll be back here before long...because it’s spring and that’s what we do. LOL!
It was nice here, but cool. High of 50.
I’m trying to figure out how to send the wind back to you. LOL It got up to 50 here, too, but the wind chill made it much colder. Not fun at all having to get out for a few minutes.
Tomorrow isn’t going to get out of the 30s. I’m goin’ nowhere. LOL
Whooooo! That sounds nasty! Good thinkin’ to stay in tomorrow. Wish you could have today. Did any more branches blow down?
It sure does sound nasty. BRRRRRRRR
If I hadn’t needed milk, I wouldn’t have gone out today. But I needed it so went out. I did come home with a couple more cases of canned cat food and that was a plus. That stuff is still a little hard to come by so I grab some when it’s on the shelves.
I don’t think anything blew out of the trees today. The wind wasn’t that bad; just bad enough to make it very uncomfortable. If standing out of the wind, it felt fairly decent.
Four nights of lows in the 20s is going to put a dent in spring crops, like strawberries. They came up early because it was so warm for a while and they’re already blooming.
It’s a shame about the strawberries. Do they plant a lot of them around there? I never heard you mention them before that I recall.
I think that milk could have waited. LOL! But, then, I don’t drink it, so see no urgency. I imagine you made it as quick a trip as possible. Yay for finding more cat food. Why is there a shortage, I wonder. I feel sometimes like we’re living in post-WWII again.
I think I’ll finish this show and head out. I am already dreading the alarm in the morning. LOL! It’ll be lucky to survive. See ya tomorrow!
Thanks...hoping I have time for a nap. LOL! Lots of paperwork left over from the week.
Yes, a lot of strawberry farms across the state. They’re prepared for cold nights because they start growing early enough, frosts are still a possibility. We can have frosts and freezes well into April. They won’t lose their crops entirely but there’ll be a dent.
Milk was absolutely essential. LOL I start off my days with a glass of Instant Breakfast so there MUST be milk in the fridge when I wake up. I had enough to get through tomorrow but not Monday morning and since I don’t care to get out tomorrow, today was the day to get it.
There’s been a shortage of canned cat food for the same reason there have been shortages on all canned items periodically. There are few factories that make cans and they were shut down in early 2020. They’ve never been able to catch up since. Why the shortage on dry cat foods, I don’t know. It’s been going on since before Christmas. If I hadn’t been stockpiling for a while, I’d have been in trouble - not able to feed the kitties.
enjoy the rest of your show and try to get a good night’s sleep. Be kind to your alarm in the morning. LOL
Good evening/morning, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
And a blessed Fourth Sunday in Lent aka Laetare (Western)/Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross (Orthodox).
Good job snagging more cat food. You have to get it whenever the opportunity presents itself. No chance of it going to waste.
I’ve been able to get cases of the seafood flavors fairly often but the poultry flavors have been very scarce. They’re starting to show up again, a few at a time, and I grab some when I see it. I look every time I go to a grocery store. I still have way more seafood than poultry though.
I see snow flurries on the Lake Hood cam. :-( Looks like some of that mess finally made it over the mountains.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Got that jumpsuit on this morning? Pretty nippy, it is.
Did you and Gizmo have a good outing yesterday?
And yes it was nippy out there but we had a great visit to the lake nonetheless.
We DID get to go to the pavilion yesterday.
Pickup permitting, we will do KFC Pick Up Day and plan on doing Comanche Lake again later today.
