A Loyola University professor is claiming that organized pantries are rooted in “racist and sexist social structures,” and that the new so-called “pantry porn” trend, in which people show off their “neatly aligned glass spice jars tagged with printed white labels” and “wicker baskets filled with packages of pasta, crackers and snacks,” has become a status symbol for white women.
Associate professor Jenna Drenten wrote an op-ed for the website, the Conversation, in which she reacted to what she calls “pantry porn,” a phenomenon where “obsessively organized kitchens” have become “a new status symbol” on social media.

I’m guessing having your clothes on hangers will be the next thing to be called “racist”. After that, having a designated drawer for your socks and separate ones for underwear, and t-shirts will be called “racist”. Then, they’ll say that having your silverware in one of those organizers will be called “racist”.
She and the school should be fired immediately and sued by her students for fraud.

Nothing “racist” or “sexist” about it. Some people are by nature “neat freaks”, and no amount of reasoning, or logic, or gentle persuasion will lure such a person away from what is an almost overwhelming drive to make “corrections” in what they perceive to be chaos. They really overthink things.
Now, the kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) that overtakes many liberals is not to try to correct the chaos, but to continue to manufacture chaos where none existed before. Liberalism has been described as a mental disease, and perhaps it is, but until the problem is recognized, no resolution is remotely possible.
