Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is mulling a run for mayor of Houston, Texas, according to reports.
Semafor first reported Jackson Lee’s potential mayoral run after speaking to three sources familiar with the congresswoman’s plans. The publication’s Kadia Goba noted that Jackson Lee declined to comment on the matter when reached by phone.

Houston has an extremely large black population that has her in office, if she runs for mayor she will be elected simple as that.
I actually considered moving to the Houston area.
The northern suburbs are quite nice, and housing prices are relatively cheap. Property tax is horrendous though.
I doubt that Jackson-Lee's district would reach way out there. However, I shudder to think what she would do to destroy the city of Houston as mayor.
This is a problem for every Demonrat district in the nation. Saint Louis, for example, already had a Black racist radical Communist father-and-son team from 1969 onwards. The son, despite impeccable Stalinazi credentials, was not radical enough, and was defeated in a primary by Cori Bush, who is an epic-level lunatic. The White leftists in their district got to virtue-signal their debasement, cuckery and race self-loathing by voting her in. Same with the folks in Minneapolis with the daughter of East African terrorists who married her own brother. Not a Black district, just a leftist one.

Excellent. She will leave a guaranteed district seat for a city wide election. Houston is very liberal overall in its demographics, but not entirely insane.
I belive the Dems will not support her in any citywide primary for the Mayor post.
She Jack’s district is drawn up so that she would never lose an election. Those “Texans” that vote for her are not what you would think.
I lived in Houston from ‘68 to ‘80. Good time to live there.
Some time in the 90’s it started to go sideways.
It has only gotten worse. Stay out of Harris County.
Houston won’t be electing her. The machine will.
Nancy Pelosi is on board to help her become mayor. It gets She Jack out of DC and out of her hair.
