Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot slammed at meeting: ‘Get the hell out of my city

Lame duck Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot got a tongue-lashing at a raucous city council meeting Wednesday, with a longtime critic telling the controversial pol to “get the hell out of my city.”

Journalist William Kelly, a frequent adversary of Lightfoot, berated the outgoing mayor for her botched leadership, including her response to the COVID-19 pandemic, during a public comment portion of the meeting.

“You shut down our schools, you shut down the churches, you shut down the businesses,” Kelly railed, according to a video posted by Forbes.

“You did the one thing that I thought could never happen,” he said. “As someone who was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, I never thought in my life that I would ever see the city of Chicago brought down so low as you have managed to bring it down.

We had the same fall into the cesspool with Seattle's first openly lesbian mayor, Jenny Durkan. Coincidence? Seattle became the first city in American to allow a 'CHOP' autonomous zone to rise as the central base for violent anarchy, death and property destruction. The Marxist BLM set its antiAmerican roots in Seattle because of Durkan. Defunding and defilement of the police gave rise to criminal acts like Seattle has never before seen. Under Durkan, Seattle became a haven for homeless camped on the sidewalks, open drug use, graffiti everywhere, and businesses boarded up. Durkan set a rot deep into the once beautiful city of Seattle:

A family friend who runs a clearing company that is located on the west side of the Loop close to Union Station cannot believe how fast Chicago fell. He says that he is very uncomfortable there. Tragic! The only thing more tragic, the same thing is happening under Democrat leadership to most of our once great cities.
