But what about this other thread this morning , where DeSantis was condemned as being too liberal on climate change? That was a deal breaker according to at least one commenter there.

DeSantis forms alliance with 18 governors to combat Biden's ESG push: 'Direct threat to the American economy'

Good! I hope more comes of this than the Disney charade.

OK… I realize that KY and LA are currently saddled with rat guvs, but where are TX and SC?

If a RINO like Sununu can put his blue-leaning state on the list, what’s up with Abbott and McMaster?

The thing I see big picture is that DeSantis is succeeding at each step, despite the odds. Trump picked bad people, ran things out unprepared and they got stopped time and again. Imagine how much more successful Trump might have been had he picked better people, had they thought through things, instead of rushing. At times I actually was beginning to wonder if some things were in put out with the expectation of them being overturned before the ink was dry. Trump and DeSantis have different styles, are surrounding themselves with different people.

DeSantis leading the way again, standing and fighting against the woke mob.

It certainly 'trumps' juvenile, trash-mouth, political bullying.

No surprise that RINO Mike Dewine (Ohio Gov) is not on the list. He is almost as bad as Ohio Congressman - Mike “Ukranian kneepads” Turner.

Talks one way, but takes ESG money - no problem.

In the 2020 election cycle DeSantis took in excess of $14 million from the Republican Governors Association. The RGA’s top-twenty donor list includes many companies that PROMOTE ESG. We can assume they use it as an investment strategy. The fact that NO ONE in the media points out this blatant contradiction is another tip to DeSantis’ Uniparty creds.

They ALL take ESG money! This shouldn't be news to anyone.

Another horrible, deep-state, RINO-driven move by that stealth candidate DeSantis.
Yep.
Is there an acronym for Trump or Nuthin’ FReepers yet?

I read the article, and I still don’t know exactly what these 18 states are doing to “combat Biden’s ESG push.”

That’s a good task for DeSantis. Stop the squandering of tax dollars on leftist special interests.

Whether Trump, DeSantis or FReepers, somebody needs to build a stream of anecdotal stories at the level the average person can understand that communicate the stupidity of “governance”.

Example: FPL FEDERALPOVERTY LEVEL currently has groups. Between 100% and 119% of FPL. Between 120% and 131%. etc.
Welfare amount ... uh, scratch that, ENTITLEMENT amount is determined by which FPL group a victim is in.

Biden’s CMS is requiring state medicaid to write code to change from placing the entitled in groups to the very specific amount of a person’s income to the FPL.

Each state Medicaid has to spend big bucks (90% Fed money, 100% taxpayer money) to make this change. It suits no purpose except to make the states jump when CMS says “jump”.

It does not serve the entitled. Less money is available for them. It does not serve the taxpayer. It does not serve the Staff of Medicaid.... they are super busy with a bigger change that is nothing except the whim of the bureaucrats above them.

The states are the implementers of the Biden bureaucracy. The R governors have the opportunity to expose the idiocy of the Biden mandates that states are paid to execute (with Biden’s money .... or is it the money of the same taxpayers the governors govern.
