Big banks seem to be able to absorb stupid mistake that are made by their managers while smaller banks can’t. But if the govt is just gonna bail you out, why not keep your money in smaller banks? There’s no risk.

Bank of America stole money from my Dad. I’d never trust them with anything.

While it may seem counterintuitive, having too many deposits may not be such a great thing. I mean, just because you have more money to lend/invest does not mean there are more credit worthy people to lend it to. You have to start loosening your standards just to try to maintain decent returns.

The eternal question. What could go wrong?

So the covid crisis killed small businesses with sales diverted to Wal-Mart, target etc. and banking crisis sends $ to the big banks. Seeing a pattern.

It is extraordinarily telling that The White Hospice is papering over 2 of the top 3 banks with "unrealized" (LOFL) CRE debt exposure.

It’s all by design, and just like watching an episode of Yellowstone, where they herd the cattle back to the “safety” of the (government) pen. The un/ill informed amongst us will panic, there will be runs on smaller, regional, and local banks due to the fact that “the big 4” will make them “offers they can’t refuse” where deposits, and investments are concerned. The “big 4” banks essentially are the Federal Reserve, are balls deep in the administration as a public /private partnership (fascism) through their DEI, and ESG policies from which only they benefit. All of this draws “the herd” closer to the end result which is the CBDC. Central Bank Digital Currency. WHEN this is implemented, all of our rights, and freedoms will be lost.

All part of the plan.
More and more centralization.

As with most things, we will be left with a few huge banks, under the thumb of government and politics.

Bad move for the bank customers.

One of the still existing small town banks would be a lot better move.

Big means cold and treacherous.

Go to a Credit Union instead of a bank. They are member owned. Left the banks in 1996

The Democrat plan.

Get the people to panic and place their money with a tiny handful of huge banks that are already corrupt and owned by the elite and the politicians. It seems voluntary so the corrupt elite have a sliver of cover.

Once a vast majority of cash is in their control, the banks go to digital currency, start the already emplaced social scoring and turn what is left of the USA into the USSR on steroids.
