The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and related causes received an astonishing $82.9 billion from corporations, a new funding database from the Claremont Institute has found.
The Claremont Institute’s Center for the American Way of Life explained the necessity of their report in an article published in Newsweek, where the Center asserted that the 2020 BLM movement was about more than just “rioting and destruction.”
The Center explained that “The BLM pressure campaigns, harassment, and moral blackmail also amounted to possibly the most lucrative shakedown of corporate America in its history.”
“As a point of reference, $82.9 billion is more than the GDP of 46 African countries. In 2022, the Ford Motor Company’s profits were $23 billion,” they also noted. The sum of $82.9 million includes “more than $123 million to the BLM parent organizations directly,” as well as much more to other organizations supporting BLM’s agenda.
The list reveals that several popular corporations from a wide range of different industries supplied the movement with large sums of cash. Walmart, for example, which is based in Arkansas, gave a whopping $100 million in support of BLM and related causes focusing on “racial equity.” Amazon gave even more, supplying the movement with an astonishing $169.5 million. Silicon Valley Bank gave the movement $73.45 million.
Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical company Abbvie gave the movement over $62 million in funding. Allstate gave $7.7 million to the cause and American Express gave $50 million. Apple gave $100 million while AT&T gave $21.5 million. The movement and its causes received another $90 million from Nike.
United Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, and Delta Airlines all gave money to BLM and related causes as well.
Bank of America, meanwhile, provided $18.25 million to BLM and related causes while Wells Fargo diverted $210 million towards BLM and related causes.

That can buy a lot of mansions for activist leaders.
And can also help elect a lot of revolutionary Democrats.
Industrial strength azz kissers. Most of their best friends are black.
Protection Money.
If blacks are 15% of the US population, doubtful with the hordes coming across the border from Mexico, and the population is 300 million, again, likely closer to 400 million because of those invading hordes, that is still around $2,000 per black person. Maybe just seize that and distribute that as reparations to be done with that scam?
Starting with the $5M per person in San Francisco.....
Oh my Lord. What has America become.
Very soon these black BLM millionaires will have white servants cleaning their mansions.
They didn’t.
I looked at this on an earlier thread.
The site treats almost all racially related programs as “BLM and related”.
3M was projecting to send money to UNCF. Granted it’s a racial program but not BLM.
BOA was projecting to send money to some Asian programs. Again, Racially based, but not BLM.
And these were like future projections of multi-year programs. It included matching programs of employee donations.
And in the case of banks like BOA, it might be including loans going back into communities where deposits were raised in compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act.
That buys a lot of crack, meth, ho’s and hair extensions.
And how much of it was used for Terrorist Activities? Should these corporations that financed this reign of terror they committed be held responsible?
I posted a similar link here:

However, this poster on that thread made a point ( see post #23 of the above link ):
[EXCERPT]
I call BS, too.
First of all, it’s not “funding” and it isn’t to BLM solely. It is an aggregation of “corporate contributions and pledges to the Black Lives Matter movement and related causes from 2020 to the present.”
That’s QUITE different from the headline.
Second, I clicked through a few of the links. It’s a stretch to call some of the entities with which these corporations are working, to be “related causes” to BLM. Entities that are trying to improve the lives of minorities aren’t ipso facto related to BLM. Parenthetically, many folks rant about “why don’t blacks clean up their own community?” But then an entity pops up to do just that, and now they’re a pro-riot communist organ?
Third, I know people who work in these companies and, without revealing sources, they have avoided BLM and their ilk assiduously.
But hey, it’ll get clicks for Claremont because..ya know..Dems Bad and stuff.
I thought sloppy reporting, playing fast and lose with the facts, and sensational headlines was a leftist trait.
Start with deducting them from welfare payments.
$5M per person.......in Confederate money...................
It’s ‘Protection’ money.............The Mafia is jealous..............
The self described Marxists who run Black Lives Matter, sure found a good way to tap into profits of capitalism.
All this money, contributed by Corporate America, so they could virtue signal and prove that they are liberal. All this money so they could show the proper staged outrage over the George Floyd incident. All this to show they were on the “right” side of that issue, because they put their money where their mouths were.
Amazing isn’t it.
Better if it’s Vietnamese Dong...it’s about $27.
So you are saying they have already been paid reparations but kept it for the leaders?
