Here’s an idea: Subsidize US chip makers who build plants in the US and tell EPA to expedite permits for construction and for oil development.
Once again rather than manufacture semiconductors in the U.S. our government seeks foreign neighbors to fulfill it’s needs.
This is a wise move for us. We need to strengthen ties to India as well as diversify as many critical components away from China and China’s reach as we possibly can.
India has refused to honor sanctions against Russia, so they are hardly an ally. So why encourage investment there instead of here in the US?
