A country whose leadership zealously protects the rights and dignity of its individual citizens, would never need to “recruit” for service protecting it.

Oh, they didn't forget that at all, they were trying to force a change in it. And failed as they deserved to. Now we're stuck with an administrative layer in all services which does not consist of war-fighters but of social engineers. That's not going to helped much by a branding change.
Still, it does represent one change back to a tradition as old as the military itself throughout history - the recruiters are still lying... ;-)

If the idea is to win in combat that can never happen. Those in touch with the current dominate culture should be ineligible.
As this tragedy unfolds, I will remember the quote that, “Men sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf”. A lot of good men are going to have to die in years to come to cover up the abandonment of the military as the ultimate meritocracy.
This tragedy of women in combat preceeding endorsement of LGBTQ+ behaviors provide another reason I now always council people to never enter the armed forces. In my wife’s and my families eight men volunteered and served in three generations, but never again.

Exactly. The Tranny Training is still required and you still get to attend Captain's mast if you don't go along with the program.
This is 100% right. My son and I discussed this a year or so ago. We are 2 of 5 in a row who served in the Army going back to the Civil War. My grandson who is still very young will be strongly discouraged from going in.
