If the idea is to win in combat that can never happen. Those in touch with the current dominate culture should be ineligible.
As this tragedy unfolds, I will remember the quote that, “Men sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf”. A lot of good men are going to have to die in years to come to cover up the abandonment of the military as the ultimate meritocracy.
