PRAGUE (AP) – Thousands of people in the Czech Republic rallied against the government Saturday, protesting high inflation and demanding an end to the country’s military support for Ukraine.

A new political group, PRO, organized the rally at Prague’s Wenceslas Square as an anti-poverty event. As participants called on the coalition government to resign, party leader Jindrich Rajchl said they want “a government to care first of all about the interests of the Czech citizens.”

His group, whose name translates in English to Law, Respect, Expertise, blames the European Union for soaring energy prices. Inflation slightly dropped to 16.7% in Czechia in February from 17.5% a month earlier.

###

Ukraine was a key issue at Saturday’s demonstration, where the crowd called for a peaceful solution to the war. Some people had the letter “Z,” a symbol of the Russian military, on their bags.

“Stop the war, stop NATO,” they chanted.

More evidence Biden's sanction war with Russia has been a total failure, inflicting inflation on everyone in the West, especially in Europe.

Why should people in Europe complain about electrical rates that are THREE TO FOUR TIMES HIGHER than the US? Makes no sense.

Therefore this must be Putin at it again, as it has all of the earmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign, right down to hacking the billing systems of Europe’s utilities to trick the people into thinking they’re paying THREE TO FOUR TIMES MORE for this power.

I’m not fooled, no way! Slaba Ukraine!

I’m sure it was completely spontaneous... Not!

Staging phony protest in foreign countries is easy enough... The Ruzzian’s even did it America when Trump won... So doing it in the Czech Republic would be easy enough.

No, honor the Minsk Agreements that were signed in 2014. The Ukies violated it by bombing the ethnic Russian territories sparking the on Donbass civil war. Vlad now has four of these provinces instead of the initial two. He may decide to go further, Odessa would be a good choice.

Vlad spelled out his objectives very, very clearly Feb 24, but as usual the collective West didn’t listen to the giant Bear in the room.

Oh Dear!

Sounds like these Czech Proles need a Color Revolution pronto!

Maybe we should start with NATO bombing and EU Green Energy Mandates!

How about honoring the Bucharest Memorandum of 1994 on Security Assurances for Ukraine that Russia signed?

Outskirts of Bakhmut littered with corpses of Russians, and collaborators are fleeing to Russia – Ukrainian official
Ukrainska Pravda
KATERYNA TYSHCHENKO
11 March 2023

[Excerpt:]
"Danilov also noted that huge queues are recorded leaving the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts for Russia.

Quote: "Those collaborators who helped [the Russians] are now waiting in line to leave the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. They feel that soon, it may be "hot" there, and many things could happen… [Ukrainian troops are now] not so far from Donetsk, Luhansk, and our other glorious cities. They (collaborators – ed.) feel everything that happens there, and shortly, they will feel much more.'"

Clare Daly

In the 1980s Daly was a member of the Labour Party as a teenager but was expelled alongside other members after being accused of being Trotskyists infiltrating the party using the tactic of entryism. She was subsequently a founding member of "Militant Labour", later known as the Socialist Party. In 1999 she was elected to Fingal County Council, a position she held for 12 years. Daly was elected as a Socialist Party TD for the Dublin North constituency at the 2011 general election.[1]

Since 2012, Daly has formed a close political association with Mick Wallace.[2] After Wallace was condemned by left-wing TDs following the revelation his building company had avoided €2.1 million in taxes, Daly resigned from the Socialist Party in August 2012 in protest[2][3] and redesignated herself as a United Left Alliance TD,[4] before switching party again in 2015 to her current party Independents 4 Change. Since becoming an MEP, Daly has gained international attention for her foreign policy views, particularly regarding Russia and China, which have been the subject of controversy and criticism.[5][6][7][8][9]

The peaceful solution is for Putin to pull his troops out of Ukraine.

Just as soon as the Ukrainians pull all their troops out of the Russian Federation oblasts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson.

Thanks for providing a wikipedia article on her. I always like to see what the enemy is whitewashing cyberspace with.

She seems to be a leftist loon like most of Europe but I can’t argue with her on her views on Russia and Ukraine. Herman Goering indeed.
