Steve Bannon Lights Up Elon Musk: ‘Total and Complete Phony’ Who ‘Is Owned Lock, Stock, and Barrel by the Chinese Communist Party’

Steve Bannon shredded Elon Musk on Friday night, calling the Tesla CEO a “complete phony” who is beholden to the communist regime in China.

Appearing on Tim Pool’s podcast, Bannon was asked about Musk tweeting that he’s “open to the idea” of acquiring Silicon Valley Bank, which went under this week in spectacular fashion. It is the second-largest bank failure in U.S. history.

Bannon threw buckets of cold water on any such acquisition:

He’s owned by the Chinese Communist Party. What are you talking about? Tesla, the only thing of real value is Tesla. He uses it for margin loans. He sells the stock. The Shanghai joint venture is a hundred percent controlled by the CCP. This is why he never goes after the CCP. This is why he always backs off. This is when they had the protest, they had the protest about the lockdowns of Covid. He will not do it.

Elon Musk is a total and complete phony. He is in bed and his business partner–he’s done some good stuff… It’s fine. But, he is owned lock, stock, and barrel by the Chinese Communist Party, and he acts like it.

A clip of Bannon’s remarks was retweeted by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who was also a guest on Friday’s show.

you mean Gov. DeSantis? he’s done a lot more than ‘put on a show.’ he’s got that state on political and economic afterburner. he reminds me of miracle Scott Walker performed in WI.

Hmm Scott Walker. Of the George Herbert Walker side of the same group. Interesting tie in.

well, i think Space-X is worth a couple bucks...

In the long run Space-X will be worth way more then Tesla and Musk will own Mars.

#11 Starlink will be worth billions in a few years with the IPO. Internet, cell phone, tv-movie shows.
Musk says 2025/2026 for the IPO.

I believe China requires foreign businesses to ‘partner’ with a Chinese entity to run a business in China as a matter of People’s Republic of China law.

Musk created a booming launch industry based on reusable boosters that has major benefits for the US. I do not see where that fits with the CCP agenda.

Bannon has always had “loose cannon” tendencies. He’s erratic!

Musk: reveals hard evidence of the criminality of the Deep State

Bannon: all talk, no action

One could easily say Bannon is in the pocket of the Deep State and was ordered to attack Musk

Exactly right.

Bannon has a big mouth and it's impossible to know if what comes out of it is accurate.

As it pertains to Bannon's rant in this thread, Musk has recently been bad mouthing China re: the Wuhan lab leak. Odd for someone "owned" by China.

China’s CCP warns Elon Musk against sharing Wuhan lab leak report

Bannon reminds me of a big dog hunting for a fight. All's he needs is a Chihuahua to alert him to where to bite. He will then retire to his corner.

Musk’s cancellation of much of the Twitter censorship has done more for the conservative cause than all Bannon’s bloviating.

You’ve been taken in by another intel front man.

Whatever Bannon is, which is open to debate, he hasn’t accused Musk of anything that Musk is not.

Musk is a cutout for Deep State military/intel technologies.

And though the CCP and globalists may be on a collision course, they’ve been partners since the CCP’s inception.

look to how few anti-CCP advocates he has allowed back on Twitter.

How many would that be and who are you referring to?

Having twice visited Musks SpaceX factory in Hawthorne, and being an engineer with quite a lot of experience on aerospace factory floors, I can vouch for Musks legitimacy as a real CEO.

If it were intel weenies using Musk as a front, and that they are really running SpaceX, then what I have seen of the nitty gritty of SpaceX tells me that those Intel guys missed their calling, as they are wasted on intel.

And you could have visited early/mid Facebook and said the same of him. Or Thiel’s companies and said it for Thiel.

For having spent so much time on aerospace floors you apparently haven’t grasped much of the larger picture of what’s at work there.
