I’ve told you of my struggles to find a Church Home that aligns with my values.
My crazy Mother and her ‘Anything Goes’ Methodist Church makes me insane! She’s got her whole funeral planned there. I, ‘get it’ but it is going to be one helluvalong weekend dealing with that when the time comes. Ugh!
My ‘home’ church (from birth through young adulthood) has gone all ‘woke’ and ‘dope,’ too. :(

I am struggling, too, Diana. I was born and raised in a conservative German Lutheran church that was affiliated with the old American Lutheran Church. When the ALC combined with the LCA and became the ELCA, it was the end of the church as I knew it. I am totally disgusted and sickened by what my church has become. I am trying to find a LCMS or WELS near where I live. I will miss my church family, as they supported me through the deaths of my daughter and husband, but I cannot attend a church that is not even Christian anymore. God Bless You!
