More than two dozen Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee have refused to join Democrats in signing a letter denouncing white supremacy.
Earlier this week, ranking member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) sent a letter to Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) urging Republicans to join him and his fellow Democrats in denouncing “white nationalism and white supremacy in all its forms, including the ‘Great Replacement’ conspiracy theory.”
Though all 20 committee Democrats signed the letter, all 26 Republicans on the committee refused to sign. The letter comes after the committee’s recent hearing “On the Front Lines of the Border Crisis: A Hearing with Chief Patrol Agents.”

What the Repubs should have done is demanded the Democrats first define “White Supremacy” and then give specific examples of it.
AND have the explain why black supremacy is a good thing.
This type of politics is the realm of the stupid and the Republican are smart to leave it alone.

I denounce white supremacy but the statement is about the greatest replacement theory and that is not anything to do with white supremacy. Se are being replaced and not just white people. Americans are being replaced. They can claim that it isn’t happening and sure that might not be the intention but it is happening and it is hard to see how it would not be intended.
I can't denounce a meaningless term. Some people are superior to others in innumerable characteristics, talents, propensities, character traits, etc. Race has nothing to do with it.
