Mitch McConnell has fallen at a hotel in Washington and is currently in the hospital. Two questions immediately spring to mind, neither of which have answers at this point: is this the end of the dreary McConnell era of establishment Republican Me-Tooism? And is there some karmic relationship between Mitch’s fall and his throwing Tucker Carlson under the bus and affirming the Left’s bogus Jan. 6 “insurrection” narrative?
We know little at this point about what is going on with Mitch. John Bresnahan of Punchbowl News tweeted late Wednesday night:
@LeaderMcConnell has been hospitalized following a fall at a DC hotel. Per a McConnell spokesman: “This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.” The 81-year old McConnell was at an event at the Waldorf Astoria DC when he fell, according to our sources. We have no further information on the extent of McConnell’s injuries or his prognosis.
David Popp, Mitch’s obfuscation manager, uh, that is, communications director, stated: “This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.”
That’s all. Nothing to see here.
...
Whether or not Mitch recovers fully and resumes his role as the leader of the Democrats’ controlled opposition, there ought to be a lesson in this for him: when people get very old and frail, they begin to be susceptible to falling, and those falls can be deadly. Maybe it’s time for Mitch to retire to his Old Kentucky Home.

Does KY have any recall options?
I believe he has
Mitch and Fetterman can share a room in the hospital. That way Soros’ staff can save meeting time.
Put Fetterman in there with them too!
No, not karma, it was an Act of God.
Then we’ll get John Thune. Yay.
Is it true two prepubescent boys were crushed in the incident?
Thune, ugh a worthless rino collaborator, every bit as bad as Mitch.
In the words of a former talk show host, “was alcohol involved?”
Does KY have any recall options?
He probably should retire. But won’t. He’ll be the next “bitter clinger” (like Ted Kennedy and John McCain) that will continue to misguide us from their hospice bed.
Retire or drop dead, either works for me.
Better McConnell than an appointment from Demonratic governor Andy Beshear.
Mitch: “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t stop being a RINO”
More like Mitch went off the script he agreed to after his Oct 2020 beating and is now being punished and/or forcibly retired.
Ky has a dem governor. Would he appoint the Turtle’s replacement?
Mayor Pete is proud that none of his favorite brand has had to be recalled.
*Better McConnell than an appointment from Demonratic governor Andy Beshear.*
Not to worry. I do believe the party(GOP) would give the rat governor 3 republicans to choose from for the immediate future. Don’t know if there’s s special election or wait until the next midterm/POTUS election. The issue was decided in Ky. a couple of years ago. Other states may have a different setup that should be changed to the same.
Too many geezers ready to croak now.
McConnell is crippled by polio. Especially at his age, he should be using some kind of assistance all the time.
