Well well well, isn’t this convenient? Now that Tucker Carlson has released more of the January 6th footage that disproves many of the lame, hateful narratives from the Left (and sadly, two nasty RINOs who are now both officially out of a job) it would appear the committee chairman, Bennie Thompson, is claiming they never had access to the footage.
No. Really.
They just had a bunch of staff go through it.
Can’t even make this crap up.
Thompson said he doesn’t think any of the Jan. 6 members themselves ever had access to the footage — they let only staff view it. "I'm actually not aware of any member of the committee who had access. We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video."

To be fair, the committee was put in place to produce a pre-ordered outcome. They didn't need to be exposed to any evidence to roll out the playbook guilty verdict. It's politics, not justice.

Absolutely! And, they should take the place of those falsly accused, held unjustifiably for the length of time these people have been imprisoned, plus 5 years, in the same isolation conditions. How about the video he showed on the first night that was clearing being shown at the J6 hearing. It was the one where they doctored it to make it look like Josh Hawley was running across the hallway all alone when in fact he was with a large group of others being escorted out by capital police. The video showed the J6 committee watching the doctored video and laughing at it.

I never said ALL. Its impossible to know with 100% certainty about the existence of the recordings of an event that has been so heavily politicized. Some may have been erased, tampered with, or simply “lost”.

The people involved in prosecuting American citizens for non-violent TRESPASSING, placing some of them in solitary confinement, demanding NO BAIL, and treating them worse than a typical murder suspect, need to be jailed. This is Soviet Union style persecution.
Our Federal Effing Government is out of control. If life were fair, all the members and the staff of the Jan 6 Tribunal would to be treated the same way as the Jan 6 political prisoners.
I’m not a fan of McCarthy either (he’s too close too Paul Ryan) but will give him credit for getting anything out. There was probably a lot of resistance to doing it by both Dems and Reps, but he opened the vault anyhow. To your point, I’m sure Tucker is also wondering about the completeness of the tapes but he’s doing a lot with what he has access to.

Talk about selective editing. Hawley should demand an apology from the J6’s attempt at misinformation.
Speech or Debate clause (Art. I §6) blocks in Congress utterings of Reps and Senators from legal scrutiny “in any other place.” So it doesn’t black them from investigations by Congress itself. Sounds like the House ethics committee needs to investigate several folks for not properly supervising their own staff, labelling and slandering many citizens and harming their civil liberties. With potential penalties including loss of committee positions, bad PR (being ‘censored’ means no more than that) and even expulsion. With all these bad ‘cops’ on the left the right needs to siphon off some of the left’s anti-cop energy and turn it on them. Yes, many on the left are partisan lemmings and won’t care, but they can’t all be mindless drones.
No further statement from Bennie Thompson about this yet. Hiding in Biden’s basement?

Why aren’t we hearing about appeals to circuit courts and higher?
Is this the start of it with the Proud Boys? What about the others languishing away in prison? Even the Shaman attorney didn’t volunteer next steps nor did Tucker ask.
I assume the only ones who can appeal are those who have already been to trial and convicted by the star chambers. There are some who are being held and habeas corpus be dammmed.
Where are the lawyers?
